Kane doesn't have to go to any club he doesn't want to though. A bid can be accepted, but the player can choose to stay.

I know all that

I was saying it will be funny if Newcastle keep outbidding City

he wants to go to City - Newcastle and Spurs right now aren't winning anything for in the next few years

but if Levy wants big money, and Newcastle keep putting a higher bid in, will be interesting to see what happens, as we know that City aren't interested in bidding wars and may give up and go after Haaland

think Levy may have fucked up if he ever thought he could cash in on Kane

It looks like it already is these days....

He's in bad form at the minute but he'll come good again. Probably when he leaves Spurs as he clearly has lost his passion to play there.

He's not over reliant on his physical attributes either. He could play at the top level well into his 30s.

They came into money

It moved em from also rans to contender for the big prizes

It's a big 4

A big 5

a big 6

They all want to flex their muscles and bully teams, then the big boy arrives. It's all bollocks

They're all squeezing the last bit of juice out of the rules and now they're genuininely worried they lose their seat at the big table

I hate them

Nice to see City abstained at yesterday's meeting regarding advertising.

City, PSG, Newcastle... all sport washing and useful idiots wear towels on their heads.

Is everything clean? Obviously not when huge sums of money are around but clubs should be more than just winning machines or slush funds for Americans.

We don't have to go back to jumpers for goal posts, but seriously, if you are willing to wade through the utter shit just to win a cup or a title, then what are you are actually watching or supporting a club for?

Oh forgot, clubs are also nice little projects for Russian oligarchs, whose hands are no cleaner, they just have less power than a country.

City didn't vote for today's move, so are being consistent.

The others clearly are worried, and all need to be prepared to play by the rules.

Whether these Arabs should be able to put the money in is a different question. That's down to the football authorities to sort, but we know what they do when such money is offered to them.

Consistently looking after their own shitty interests, also itd been hypocritical to an eye watering degree given the shirt sponsor, ground sponsor etc etc....

They changed the rules yesterday, to suit themselves.

I know. But as said before, it's only temporary until they've talked more.

Newcastle and City saying they don't think this is legal. Could get ugly. A bit like this breakaway job, when the Spanish clubs threatened to take eufa to court over their threats to stop the internationals from representing their country.

Whatever rules they create, they have to stick to them. The fair play stuff doesn't seem to carry much weight; not sure if this change in an attempt to reinforce that and stop extra owners' money coming in, but whatever the case it needs to have teeth.

Makes me feel sick the way the Newcastle fans treated Bruce. Classless twats. A severely underfunded club for so many years, could they not just be happy about the ownership change? A new management was inevitable so why hound him out like that.

Bruce is a red turd.
