Southgate is fucking insane isn't he.

World Cup semi.... Mixes the squad like fuck.

Euros final....

Mixes the squad like fuck.

Most other nations in similar positions keep the core squad and change one or two.

We're winning Qatar 2022. MMW.

I've enjoyed England under Southgate more than any other manager in my time

Refreshing to see the squad being changed all the time and not just being picked because you're on the bench for a top four side

Agreee with all above, I just hope hes learnt on the job himself about critical decisions in the biggest of big games.

Hes only made two mistakes and they were in a semi and a final.

The rest hes been fucking superb.

The reset after Iceland has been superb from all involved.

Barring the lot from euro 2020 I wouldn't recognise em if I bumped into them ont Street.

Prem twat followers are a different sport.

Utterly ridiculous.

What is it with our society and having to jump all over someone who is struggling a bit?

Why not sing his name and show a bit of support?

Fuckin nobs

He seems to freeze in those big games though.

Opposition managers have been tinkering with their system mid game and he hasn't been reacting anywhere near quickly enough for me.

I think he's doing a great job overall - but needs to be more decisive in the huge games.

Yeah deffo. Letting the game pass him by.

Mancini outfoxed him.

He will learn 🙏

Fucking morons.

Yes, he's a rag, and in a Man U shirt he should be despised ... but if you go to watch England then, for that game only, he's one of your players and should be supported.

Not sure I could ever go so far as singing a Man U player's name though :)

This is nothing new though, I can remember back to when John Barnes was regularly booed.

I’m a big fan of what Southgate has achieved over the last few years. He’s taken the national team to delivering an expectation (semi’s and final) that we could only dream off with all of the mercenaries before him. Plus, he’s got the nation back behind them.

but as said above that’s where his current limitations / natural urge to be cautious as a manager have been found out.

the 2 semi finals (WC and Nations league) and the final we were 1-0 up at HT in all of them and looked comfortable. But he reverted to dropping deep and trying to close the game out instead of wrapping the games up.

bellingham was fantastic last night and has looked a class above whenever he has played. He should be starting the upcoming run of nations league games alongside Rice to see how it goes against your top sides like Germany and Italy in readiness for the WC. But, as it is against those types of sides he’ll sadly revert back to type and play Rice and Phillips.

we already know what we get with them so if it doesn’t work in the Nations league with rice and Bellingham then there’s his ammunition to start Rice and Phillips in the WC. But he won’t give it a chance

I'll never forgive him for not making a change at left back after about 55 minutes in the World Cup. Or for bringing on 'specialist penalty takers' in a final.

Actually scrap that - I will if he learns!

It cannot help the lad but welcome to Wembley, packed with fans of London clubs.

McGuire doesn't help himself when the miserable looking sod run to the booing fans, cupping his ears if something goes right. Oh, & being shite for a year.

Outrageous. For England he’s always been brilliant. Can’t ask more from him.

Its weird with England still find the doom  and gloom0ngers before during and after games.
Semi and a final of a two tournaments and dickheads still find a reason to be negative.
Southgate is the best England manager ive ever seen and the depth and quality of the squads at all levels is the best in the world.

He was great at Leicester, then went shit up the road, and he looks like Stan Laurel sometimes.

Once he get the England shirt on though it's all forgotten.
