A freak of geography unfortunately. Blackburn boundary is closer than than expected.

Was it a freak of geography or a freak of a 1974 boundary change. Fairly sure Belmont, Lancs was an outpost of Bolton until Greater Manchester swallowed us up, administratively but missed Belmont and Edgworth to become Blackburn with Darwen outposts.

Every Sunday. All evening round Harwood and Bradshaw then off to White Horse in Edgworth for the extra half hour.

A boundary change would be one of geography then wouldn't it!

Just like the creation of Pakistsn, Iraq, East Germany (and subsequent removal) all changed boundaries.
