Ciao Napoli - Slovenian/Croatian. At least the latter had the good grace to start calling it 'Mediterranean' rather than 'Italian' - after about seven years. It was originally Italian-owned. Per Frandsen and family/friends used to regularly half-fill the gaff on Friday or Saturday nights. Roma was the only genuine born/bred Italian in the town centre, Toscana were Italians but naturalised here. The less said about the one in the basement under the antiques centre behind The Blue Boar the better, although the Scarface style tacky decor was good. The problem with Italian restaurants in the town centre was the fact they were in the town centre, they spent half the time wrangling pissed up fuckers and showing them the way to The Leena instead.
