So season ticket holders could buy up to 1.30 and members could buy after that?

Think they just stopped at 130. ST holders don't have to be members this season

All sales stopped at 1.30pm, but that was purely because of Stockport selling their allocation rather than anything to do with memberships. They still would have been on sale until kick off had Stockport not sold out.

genuine  story from sunday.

i have 3 season tickets none of us were going to stockport game as it clashed with my daughters football . on route to her game at around 1.30 she called me to tell me she had to pull out of the squad due to pulling up during warm up. At this point me and mrs  were on the m60 just passed traf centre we spun round and went home we live just off junction 6 of the m61.

We could and would have easily made the game but we couldnt go because we have not yet made ourselves members and the ticket office was shut . 2 tickets and probably another £20 in the ground lost.

As ST Holders, you would not need to become members to purchse tickets this season.

Ticket sales stopped at 1.30 to everyone however, so you would have been unable to buy them anyways.

Sorry you missed the game, but it had nothing to do with the membership scheme.

There are obviously problems for some with it, but there are so many stories where people are blaming the scheme, where it is not at fault.

Tickets were on sale upto kickoff AFAIK (online, for members)

You just couldnt call in person after 130pm

i tried to buy online at prob 1.45 on my way home i clicked buy tickets .A screen came up that said "this event is only available to members" I didnt go any further than that .

Maybe i could have bought a ticket if i had delved a little deeper but should it really be that difficult to get a ticket for a game

If you're a season ticket holder then you would have just needed to log in and away you go. Just as if that screen hadn't come up, you'd have had to log in once you'd selected your seats. Exactly the same number of steps, just in a different order.

I’m 72 hours in and still don’t have permission to buy a ticket and have two emails telling me that I’ve registered and that I’m a member

I might be wrong, but I suspect you need to log in to your membership profile, as well as your online account.

It is very fucking confusing, and I don't blame anyone for struggling with it. They've properly fucked it up.

Once you're into the ticket bit, it's this icon here. It's totally counter-intuitive as you're already logged into your online account, but your membership profile isn't connected to your online account, so you have to log in to that seperately:

Me too. My lad buys the tickets whilst WFH and I don’t actually know if he has or hasn’t signed up to the new membership scheme.

Takes me through the exact same process accepts my username and password and then tells me I don’t have permission. Thanks mate for your effort. I’ll ring them at some point tomorrow

It needs u-turning alright

Even if every member got 4 allocated spaces they could use and all it took was for the main member to put their name in that would be a start.

But a flawed system where we can’t even buy tickets isn’t acceptable

Spot on.  Not sure where you were going with "it wouldn't matter if we top of the league" though.  Bottom of league one or top of prem, if a lot of us can't get tickets that's a bigger issue than league position.

Why on earth did they rush this in so quickly without even any testing first to confirm the process? It’s bollocks, so many people having problems and I still don’t actually know why it was necessary anyway, the security aspect just doesn’t cut it for me.  If genuine fans can’t get tickets, despite numerous attempts and efforts, casuals are just going to give up and that’s going to cost the club the revenue it needs. Surely just accept it was a mistake, pull it, review it and if it’s still necessary, test it, make sure it works properly and start it for next season.

In trying to get tickets last week my owd man emailed hoping they would get back to him. They didn’t until this morning they rang him, apologised and said they’re trying to resolve any issues they are finding, said it’s been a nightmare for the ticket office and feel a bit helpless at times.

He’s just been on and ordered two for Friday.
