Absolute joke blocking off the hotel exit to east stand, anyone parking on hotel must of been fuming. It’s fuckin Stockport FFS!! Not Millwall.

Copper on a horse told me not to argue with him , & told me to do one.

Female officer responded to my polite request to let myself & my grandson through as we were parked on Tesco , she hadn’t had the full frontal lobotomy like the Cnut on the horse and applied some common sense .Rare these day with our increasingly paramilitary police.

Weird though because if you walked out of WSL you could walk straight into the leaving away fans and could walk off the car park with them up towards CNR.

Because ESL is bad and WSL are all angels (or nearly dead).

My Dad parks on there and managed to get through having to go through the indignity of showing his disabled pass. They wouldn't however let the two fellas with him through and they had to walk back round.

They then had to sit for half an hour while all the away coaches were cleared.

Think its the only ground in the bastard country where away fans get preferential treatment.

Why not just keep them in for 10 mins??

Or create a proper holding pen so people can walk round them?

Or would that be too fuckin easy.

It's hard to get the proper meaning out of this without full context, but reads here like Sarce left due to being dropped for Plymouth.

Challinor is obviously only getting Sarcevic’s side of the story though given he wasn’t actually managing Stockport at the time.

If your happy with recent performances then fine; something is drastically wrong imo

Its no secret, its been the case since day one.  We are below average mainly because we have below average goalscorers/ shooting ability, and we have no pace or strength up front, its plain as day.  Dapo aside obviously.  If he didn't play today, we wouldn't have scored 1 never mind 2.  Absolutely outstanding first half from Dapo, men against boys, and that pass made it worthwhile turning up.  Please don't get injured.  I enjoyed the game, glad I went, we were on the front foot most of it, played some neat football at times which shouldn't go unnoticed - Lee so good to watch - but it doesn't impact on the scoreline if nobody shoots on target, given that headers aren't an option.

We can stop questioning formations, IE, referees or anything else after that performance. Certain players need to take a good long look at themselves & either shape up or ship out. We had a few players playing with any urgency.... Lee, Isgrove & MJ, Gordon when he came on (& I'll leave Thomasson out of the criticism). Dapo came & went in spells.... The rest really need a rocket up their arses.

Before anyone chips in, I'm not saying those I mentioned played brilliantly but they played like it mattered.

I'd love that to be the problem.  It isn't.  Santos hasn't played with any "urgency" since he came, that's not a criticism, that's his game, take it or leave it but if it was the last minute of the play off final he would control the ball, look around, pick a pass and execute it in his own time.  Kachunga looked well up for it.  Baptiste too, he kept trying to get forward and join in attacks, not always successfully but definite desire to win.  Doyle tried 100% as ever.  Fair to say the attacking subs had zero impact, I'll go with that, but struggling to think of a starter that was below the usual level.

On another note summat gonzo said was spot on, why we dont just routinely keep the away fans back for 10 minutes makes no sense at all.

You’d have thought they’d have been staying behind celebrating anyway and the police would have let folk past in the meantime. Certainly sounded that way in the background of one of the Radio Manc calls even by the time I was pretty much getting on to the M61 after the game.

Two good posts @Johnnyrotten

Agree with most of what you said.

However the comment above I don’t think is as definitive as you’re making out. I think heading in to these last 2 games we were low on confidence with a multitude of on/off field problems which were disrupting all the squad, in all areas defence/ midfield/attack. I don’t think we’ve come out the other side yet, but these last 2 games have provided 5 goals.

And yes I know it’s against lower league opposition and I know we are heavily reliant upon Dapo, but we need to see if those goals for Doyle and Kachunga spark them into league form now and we need to have patience with Baka who I’m sure will provide the missing strength you mention.

Yes it’s a current problem, but one which I feel we can/are addressing, not one which we right-off yet with the current personnel.

Regardless of whether we turn our form around pre-Christmas I still think Evatt will want strength in depth to address the problems you highlight.

How many times have we been kept behind at an away game.

OB are incompetent with us

We cannot keep making excuses.

This run shows no signs of ending and we are now at the point where we cannot even beat a NL team at home.

We have not ounce of creativity in the whole team and each game mirrors the last one.

IE has a job on his hands with this lot.

Chill out tony

I suppose it all depends on what @captainmed definition of creativity is.

But for me you’ve got Dapo with so much skill and flair

MJ with whose passing is sublime and so accurate and long-ranging

Confident, ball playing centre backs, of which there can’t be many better than Santos at this level.

Attacking, exciting and penetrating full backs when John and Jones are firing.

Lee and Sheehan show loads of composure and intelligence in the middle of the park

The only argument you can have is that we are not seeing it as consistently as we’d like at the moment, but to suggest we have “not an ounce of creativity in the whole team” is bafflingly off the mark.
