Is it time for a change?

Not manager for me, I really don't think firing off the manager is the right thing to do. As frustrating as it is we are still rebuilding and I just don't know who we would get in. We were never going up so need to survive this season. But I am worried something has happened as the collective spirit we had ast season seems to have evaporated and no one is showing any passion

That was the easiest 9-1 win I've had all season, thanks Skybet.  Hopefully they'll be as kind with the odds for our next one at Burton.

Seriously, its getting beyond a joke now, not the fact that we've lost at a mid table league one team, just the inability to test the keeper particularly in the 2nd half of away games, week after week.

But Politic couldn't possibly improve it because the Port Vale manager isn't picking him in his starting XI.

Politic  has started the last 2 games .

First half we should've had at least two goals.

Second half we didn't have a single chance did we? The obsession with getting to the halfway line and then passing back to the keeper is ridiculous. Especially when you're losing. No urgency and little idea what to do with the ball.

Hopefully some new recruits in January will be enough to see us safely through the rest of the season.

By the time January arrives we wont be far off the bottom four and any new recruits will be joining a relegation scrap rather than a promotion charge. Still can't get me head around the captain (Sarcevic) dropping down two divisions to a non league team after a promotion season. Something must have been pretty bad in the dressing room. It's been poor ever since. The only notable thing is that all the promoted teams from last year (Chelt/Camb/Morec) are doing no better and all in the similar league position. It does take time to jump that level week in week out.

There was never a promotion charge, new recruits are coming to play league one football, that's all.  As bad as our away form is, we've got 2 home games now and one of them is absolutely massive.  Hopefully we'll be further away from the bottom 4 before we go to Burton, to give us some breathing space.  If Morecambe pick up more points than us in the next 2 games we've definitely got problems.

No doubt casino & the happy clappers will defend him

It is not about being a happy clapper just given our situation to change manager at this stage is ridiculous.  We would probably spend all of our limited funds getting rid and replacing him so any new manager is left with the paper thin squad we have, also who the fuck do we go for?

He still has credit from last season and I think he can turn it around with players back and some players in January.

But I am pissed off with another shit performance

Bolton have failed to score in six consecutive away league games for the 6th time in their history. This equals a club record also set in 1949, 1980, 1988/89, 2003 and 2019.

Good info, so Stelling was wrong, he said 5 equalled the record.  Onto Burton then to avoid a new low.
