We signed a centre half (Aimson) midfield player (Sheehan) and forward (Bakayoko)

The challenge now is can IE see what we are lacking ? It is much more about the character/attitude that matters. Karl Henry I would say would not be an Evatt type of signing but IMO is just what we need. Let's see what he gets in, I will judge him based on how we look and perform in second half of the season.

The more recent (lighter) version of Henry is arguably Liam Bridcutt.  Must be getting towards end of his contract at Lincoln, put a cheeky low bid in and give him the captain's armband.

Early Start - rattler to Accrington.  Limo for Mr Smith to The Warners Arms .

Landed on our feet with that one.

Rest of us followed at a statigic distance behind some of Bolton's finest .

Who announced their attempt to get in The Bees Nees by chucking smoke bombs and carrying crates of ale. Then looked on incredulously when barred from entering.  1 of them lifted by the coppers at 11.05 .

Visited the Grey Horse at 1.30 . Good atmosphere and buxom barmaid . Excellent fish barm from over the road.

Onto ground where Ash had sorted seats under cover . Good Lad .

Match - shite . Let's leave it there. Nice to watch in the company of Victor .

Walked into town after .

Did a couple of pubs till around 8pm . No mither .

Rattler back to Bolton,  then a curry in the Achari with the dog.

Role on the cavalry arriving as promised by Mr Evatt.

Forgot to give Jeep a mention, spotted him having early afternoon  cakes n a pot of tea . Looked a quaint cafe for fans of a certain age.

Dixon gambled to claim a ball that was going wide. The ball literally landed in the middle of the goal. If he stays where he is he catches it. It's awful goalkeeping. He's no need to be off his line in that situation. It's not the first time he's at fault for a goal either.

But if he stays on his line he gets criticised for that too. He was not at fault for Accy’s goal, the defence was, so give him a break.

Not for me; as per my previous post I think it helps sort the whole defence out. Particularly the CB’s and I can’t see us getting another when we have Santos, Johnston and Aimson as well as Baptiste as cover

It’s all about opinions but I’d go:

Crucial: striker, goalkeeper & CM

Then another right back if poss

Spot on big fella

I've watched a few of these, but I'm clearly missing something as I really don't see the point of them.

I can only watch them when we win. They’re great then.

Can’t go near them when we lose.
