Farrelli
When we have just Gilks and Evatt on the bench they’ll probably give us a chance to recall our loans. Way things are going it could be next week.

Unfortunately they cost £500k w Remember super Kev used to have ice baths after games . We could save ourselfs 500k worth of equipment and buy bags of ice from Tesco’s at a pound a bag . Job done

Mantra
Think our injury list looks even worse because our squad was already thin. The last 12 players are academy players who don’t seem anywhere near first team yet. Add Edwards, Darcy and Brockbank who aren’t much further above them. Did I miss Brockbank being injured by the way?? Not seen him in last couple match day squads. Annoying part is the length of those 6 I’ve marked with an X. Except for Josh, they’re all out for just the wrong amount of time. Mostly till January which makes the transfer window difficult because you don’t want to overload the squad if you’ve got 5 players returning then anyway. Still think we need right back cover, defensive midfield cover and maybe one other either a striker or centre half.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted December 6, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted December 6, 2021 Stick with the back 3, MJ in and Thomason out. Or back to a back 4, with MJ into the midfield with a centre half out?
Johnnyrotten
Whether he starts or is on bench to ease him back in, I'll be happy not to be wincing every time an outfield player goes into a tackle. Reassuring to know that if someone gets a knock we won't be looking at the bench wondering who the hell we can bring on.

Sure we hade a previous player with a rice-crispy shoulder. Buckley springs to mind. But what you said seems to be reet. I remember Brent Gibson in Lethal Weappn had the same problem, he just had a slug of bourbon and smacked it in the wall to pop it back in, maybe an option for MJ, just trot off to hotel bar, double JD and thwack, backmonntge pitch in 10mins

Site Supporter MickyD Posted December 9, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted December 9, 2021 That self adhesive strapping athletes put on their knees and thighs to stop things popping out; does it not work on shoulders?
