Either by beating a L2 team in the cup, not calling off the original Stevenage fixture (we'd have lost a couple of players but offset by the rotation for fatigue in January) or surely by avoiding rearranging it for the busiest month of the entire year - a bizarre choice that benefits nobody. I feel like we've brought it on ourselves and SS can't use this tough run as an excuse. this run, then the run in of, stockport, cardiff, huddersfield, bradford & luton just screams another year in league 1 hope im wrong Quote

Do we ever even score there! Its another Portsmouth to us. Last 7 games look really tough. Quote
Tombwfc Posted January 9 Posted January 9 The previous toughest run of the season (Huddersfield > Cardiff > Bradford > Luton) yielded eight points from four games. If that's too positive - it took three last minute goals and 2pts a game wouldn't help us anyway. Quote

Yes, that was a great run of results, followed by 2 more wins (Mansfield and Exeter). 17 points from 7 games, undoubtedly our best run of the season. If comparing the tough fixtures with the last 7 games of the season, we've got the same 4 plus Stockport, Plymouth and Stevenage and more are away significantly. Quote

TrickyTrotter Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Ben Luckcock is now a shareholder of FV in his own right. Be surprised if we are running out of cash, but doesn't mean we're dripping in it either. Rival Son Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I note that Evatt and Ludonautics are now zero. Could it be that Ben has simply paid them off and been given a solo shareholding in return? In other words, settled a liability but no new money. Quote
TrickyTrotter Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) No expert but Evatt and Ludos shares were non voting. Luckcock now owns Class A (voting) and Class C. As Trafigura's Global Head of Oil he'll be worth a bit. Edited January 26 by TrickyTrotter Quote

I find Madri, San Miguel, Peroni, Moretti etc. absolutely rank. Over the last couple of decades, my taste buds have become conditioned to only accept Carling or Fosters, because that's pretty much all that was available when I started boozing. I'm not proud of it, but it is what it is. Quote

Ani Posted yesterday at 14:50 Posted yesterday at 14:50 Went in Los Iguanos (I think it is called) before game Saturday £4 for a pint of Corona excellent value However a half of coke out of the dispenser thing so basically fizzy syrup was also £4 with half the glass being filled up with ice. I refused to pay it. Just got the beers had ordered. Probably do not bat an eyelid at £5 per pint and £2 for coke. Quote
