Do we know how Luton are doing it then?

No snark, I'm genuinely interested as they're surely bucking that trend

Just checked last accounts they pre tax profit was -6.6 million, cannot see that being sustainable for to long.

It does say covid influence. Like ours do.

I would imagine every club has had to account for big income drops over that time.

Don't think it will necessarily detract from their mission.

Their property arm Luton 2020 have just sold a load of land on the M1 which will be developed into Industrial and Logistics space. Land that close to the M1 goes for mega money in the South East. You’re talking £2m per acre plus.

Gary Sweet and Co are extremely savvy (And he’s also a top bloke).

Sounds like another quality set up.

A very fair point, & they are. Bravo to them.

I suppose these things are always relative to income and the owner's personal finances but the losses - particularly for where they are in the league - aren't as astronomical as seens elsewhere

Lot of folk in our head office are Luton fans

They talk about their owners the way that we talk about ours

Well, they're certainly not letting the grass grow under their feet. Always looking at innovation and advancement.

I could never get the fucker to work on my laptop but it could have been my settings. I could never find out if it was going to work or not so I paid my tenner, complained and got my tenner back. Not the same though.

Love this bit:

Let me promise you something: that progress will not plateau.

Ian is a born winner and we as a Board won’t leave any stone unturned in matching his ambition by taking this Club back to where it belongs.

The last few years have been a great time to be a Wanderer under Sharon and FV. In 50 odd years I've never felt so engaged and part of it. And the best part of it for me is, as I've said before, we only ever feature on the sports pages these days. I am blissfully unaware  of anything unsavoury behind the scenes, and that's how I like it.

And if I ever get to see her, I'll tell her. Am I the only person never to have had the pleasure (of meeting her) ?

In Sharon we trust, even with unconventional eyewear cleansing habits.

Really good message, typical of everything Sharon and colleagues are doing, positive, professional, engaging and caring. I'd echo that sentiment Francis, club being run as well as at any time I can remember, going back as far as the 70s.
