Perhaps it's because they are a new supplier.

Maybe it was a dig at the previous folk- they have had their say after all.

Some unnecessary microanalysis going on perhaps!

We know why its been put in and i believe its unnecessary

Whilst the Leasing Options Fan Zone is primarily funded by the club as we head into its third season of operation, the club would like to place on record its thanks to both the Bolton Wanderers Supporters Trust and the Bolton Wanderers Development Association (BWDA) for their financial support…”

I found this paragraph particularly twatty. If you’re going to give praise then just do it, don’t open up with a massive caveat that undermines it.

Rather than me want to give the club credit, which is what the comment is clearly aimed at in a “look at us, look at what we did” kind of way, it actually had the opposite impact and made me think it’s a proper shit thing to say. Just say “massive thanks to BWST and BWDA for their support, financially and otherwise”

The thing for me is its probably a  press release, so time to cross the is, dot the ts

If its a one to one, folk can mess up, but this, it just seems second rate

Fwiw, i dont care who does the food and spice are very good, just no need for it

Definitely comes across as a dig. I'm not a fan of Neil Hart at all.. I raised a few pointers with him when he wanted to sack the match buses off. ie; increased traffic around the local residential areas, environmental impact and costs (less than £25k per year they were "losing", which I argued were 6 months pay for a B team substitute) and a few other remarks

He was very condescending and went on to state that he didn't for the life of him know why the club had ever sanctioned a match bus that goes anywhere near a Salford postcode - Didn't even bother to check postcodes in the system before responding to me. Adding he was "perplexed why a bus service would run from the Worsley area to the stadium"

Turns out it's the most used and most profitable service at that - Offered to meet our group on a match day to discuss alternatives and get a feel for the supporters in this area, then ducked and dived everytime we tried sorting something

More for the Ticket Office than FV,

I lost my wallet on Thursday in Blackpool ( my fault not scrote related) .

The TO was on the case as soon as I told them and waived the fee for replacement.

Told her to thank Sharon but not mention it to Neil.

All the rage these comp things now aren't they. Elite set up near me and are bloody massive now.

Bubble will burst though.

Massive one in Cumbria. People seeing normal people win is helping. Making them a fortune

It does seem contradictory

I think some of the recent decision making by the club has been quite poor

It’s like they are business people and not  fantasy saviours people like to pretend.
