He's perfect for a franchise club

Gotta luv Chat GPT

Taking over as Chief Executive at MK Dons, a relatively young football club that emerged from controversial origins, after leaving a historic and traditional club like Bolton Wanderers, presents a unique and challenging transition.

"Transitioning from Bolton Wanderers, a club deeply rooted in English football history with over a century of tradition, to MK Dons, a club that represents a different chapter in the evolution of the sport, offers a unique set of challenges and opportunities. At Bolton Wanderers, I was privileged to serve a passionate community that has witnessed the highs and lows of football for generations. The club’s history, values, and identity are intertwined with the fabric of English football culture.

MK Dons, on the other hand, represents a newer model—one that has emerged from the dynamics of modern football. While the club's origin has been a subject of debate, it is also an opportunity to shape a distinctive identity grounded in a vision for the future. My goal as Chief Executive is to respect the club’s origins while working to build an inclusive, forward-thinking, and community-oriented organization.

I recognize the skepticism that some may hold due to MK Dons' unique background. However, my focus is on the potential to create a vibrant footballing environment that inspires new generations of fans, engages with the local community, and fosters a culture of sustainable growth both on and off the pitch. At its core, football is about passion, community, and the power to bring people together, and my aim is to bring these values to life at MK Dons.

I look forward to bringing my experiences from Bolton Wanderers—where I learned the importance of heritage, loyalty, and resilience—to this new role, while also embracing the distinct challenges of guiding MK Dons toward a future where it can establish its own legacy in English football."

Well, firstly if a man in the know thinks MK Don's are a better bet than us that's a mild concern.

More immediately Sharon seems to have been quite trusting & maybe even reliant on him. In the middle of all the Evatt stuff I do hope she doesn't begin to wonder 'wtf ?'

Maybe he's taken us as far as he can and needs a new challenge

He did say that when he came in he wanted to make us a sustainable championship club but since realised that wasn't going to happen

Or maybe the Kuwait guys at MK have offered to double his wage

Or maybe these Swiss guys want to bring in their own man

One thing I'm pretty sure of is he's not jumping ship because he thinks MK Dons are an all round better gig

Hart to MK Dons I think.  New Kuwaiti owners.

Not sure if poached, jumped or is being pushed.

Whichever way, as BN reports “head hunted” then either it’s true or it’s a face-saving term used by Bolton as a “thanks for doing your job but someone high up needs you out”

Good riddance.

No doubt he knows his corporate bollocks, but he knows fuck all about real football fans, nor does he care.

He’s everything that’s wrong about modern football.

He'll fit right in at MK Dons then

I was doing a job at Bygone Times shortly after we'd signed Jerome and Hart walked past me had the line, "Fucking hell Neil, we've just signed an antique don't be buying anymore" ready but sadly didn't see him again.
