Average age 74. Fellas lurking on the corners on the dance floor who think you still have to wear trousers and proper shoes on a night out. Owd wimmin wearing their best sparkly blouses, drinking pernod and lemonade. It's like going back in time.

And what's Wrong with my Trousers  and Shoes

Yeah it’s pretty big. Once had a £10 night , £10 to get in and free bar. Couldn’t even get close to getting in. Shut a few weeks later, can’t think why

Sounds like a different sort of venue to me Adder

This is Boltons problem all over. The town centre is fucking massive. That street from Swan down to varsity should be all its boozers and clubs.

Night spot. Pedestrianised.

'Restaurants' across both sides of Bradshawgate

'offices' everywhere else

'shops' in market Hall and surrounding areas.

Flatten from the side of the town hall all the way down to burnden Asda and don't stop until you hit Manchester.

Bits in ' ' are open to interpretation

Pubs are full of once a yearers and people who want to want to hug and kiss you. No thanks. Only people I hug and kiss are my kids. Go away.

Erm....  Think you'll find I gave you a massive hug at the Charity game.

Gonzo got one too

Mate I’ve been saying it for years. A full strip from Preston’s all the way down to the old Williams place. Estate agents, clothes shops fuck off.
It could be great

Christmas is shit unless you have young uns. Twixmas is shit, New years eve is shit, New years resolutions are shit. Every year just get to 4th Jan and back to some semblance of normality

Vote Gonk.

People out for the first time since last NYE, with new jumpers on.

Used to always go to a big WMC on new year's day, i hated it but friends used to think it was ok.

What really used to get my goat was whatever time you got in it was already full of people you had never seen in there ever And, they would take what looked like all their Christmas leftovers and set out their own buffet to sort of reserve the table. Scutters.

Used to do the Halliwell mile on NYE which was mostly peaceful & not too packed, but the millenium killed it with some pubs trying to charge to get in. I never went in a couple of them again & now they're gone. No sympathy.

Be in bed before midnight, get woken up by fireworks & wonder what the fuck's going on,back to sleep & then up & off to Rotherham & then a few pints back in Bolton. (Sunday hours ?? )Prefer that to being pushed around on NYE.
