Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 5, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted January 5, 2022 A lovely place is Shrewsbury. Best football ground pie I ever had was at Gay Meadow after a drink in one of the ale houses near by. Then a victory!

Leyther_Matt
In x3 Have already pre-booked a taxi with one of the Shrewsbury companies. Ended up trekking down the riverbank and across the golf course last time but I don't think that's quite so feasible this time around. Google Maps reckoned a 45 minute walk, and it was nearly half 2 by this point. Luckily we were walking down the road as a Shrewsbury fan came out of his house. Asked him for a lift, he says I can do better than that and leads us down the riverbank, over the golf course and we were at the ground in time for having a pint before kick off! Similar, but the guy actually drove us up to the ground. Top Salopian. 👍🏻

Mounts Kipper
Just bought 2 tickets, there is the £2 charge and another £0.75 online fee, is that a new charge? Must admit these extra charges are pissing me off more than they should.

Venetian White
I’ll be there. Haven’t been to Salop since beating them 1-0 in August ‘90 (I think) Should take a decent following, 1,400 or so?
