All stems from Sarcevic/Evatt fall out. Whatever went on. We look completely different since. Not for the better!!!

If it was either Sarcevic or Evatt I thought at the time they sacked the wrong one.A half decent attacking midfielder was of more use than a manager who can't organise a team defensively

I love your devout enthusiasm, and i sincerely hope you are right, but, in all honesty, who is capable of changing things? Kachunga? Ameachi? Isgrove? Sheehan out all season. Lets hope new signings this Jan turn out to be as good as last Jans, otherwise i think we are in serious trouble.

Do you not think 5 of our best players last night were understandably not fit enough; Charles, Lee, Williams, Fossey and Jones?

Do you not think when those 5 get up to speed and match fitness we will be better?

Do you not see that IE is looking to bring in new blood because the squad isn’t strong enough at the moment?

So when the question is asked how and why will things change for the better there are solutions - they’re just not going to be immediate unfortunately. Many of us said things might get worse before they get better.

I’m not saying there aren’t problems (think it was @Mantra post earlier which highlighted them well)

But If we don’t believe things can get better and change what’s the point in going/watching?!

Couple of time he got in behind in the first half that you'd think when fully sharp he'd score from. was out of the game in the 2nd half but then again all the forward players were.

So United got it right by sacking Ole and Jose and letting the Prima Donna players run the club ? Working out well.

Both Kachunga and Isgrove are better on the right than Baka so yes they will improve us. Ameachi has shown flashes but has been out more than in so hard to say

Decent 1st half, the 2nd goal killed us off.   Most of our players are too small, we need height and muscle, it’s that what beats us most games

i was actually surprised how many small players they had

some piss poor distribution from Dixon meant that we just handed back possession straight away.

thatll happen without a target

id guess there wouldve been a meltdown if we had signed vokes

class above our strikers

id guess hes behind amaechi and kachunga for that job

needs must maybe

We play teams like Rotherham and they target full backs with long balls to a big man. Baka lost a more than he won last night against a smaller player.

The only bright bits last night was the return of Jones and the kid from Diversity, assume he will be injured for weeks now. We are desperate when Jones turns out for reserves earlier in the day.

sarcevic was a big player for us...on and off the pitch

his influence off the pitch was big, as you would expect, but when that became a negative, he had to go

he got stick from many, but thats par for the course

hopefully, short term pain, long term gain

Sarce and Doyle got slated on social media, they leave and the sky collapses. Social media in uproar.

Stick to your beloved United.

One of those you mention is at the end of his playing career the other at the start of his managerial career. And you'd keep the older player? A great insight into the footballing mind of a dirty red.

Ultimately it will get better, it cant get any worse really!  But its not just about the players, its also about passion, desire, and giving your all, and showing more intent, which is sadly lacking. There are no excuses for the first goal last night. Players could, and should have got a challenge in, including Santos, who decided to turn his back on a very weak shot, instead of throwing himself into it. Im also struggling to comprehend four defenders on the subs bench. I know we are not blessed with forwards at the minute, but if Jones can play two games in a day after being injured for three months, surely Henry deserved a place on the bench after scoring two in the reserves?

Whatever he was doing I’d like him to come back and do it again if I’m honest. We were better to watch.
