Was in and out, knocked on the manager's door for a chat and was told by Evatt what he wanted from him. Went away, worked his bollocks off and deserved his place. Proper commitment, no sulking, just upped his game. I remember him following promotion- deservedly revelling in his success. Hope he gets back, but it's some way for him to go. We've had Sadlier thrust into the role, and Jones now, which I don't think overly suits either. I know it's Wigan and a derby etc, but we've little to play for now, so why not try one? He'd be more defensive I think than John in that position, but his passing would help compensate. Until he, or someone else is tried, we'll never know.
