bolton va va Posted January 22, 2022 Share Posted January 22, 2022 Just back, EIEIEIfuckingO !st half fairly dour & fairly even with our defence looking solid again.....2nd half, Dapo gave us much more threat going forward (but maybe weakened us a bit defensively ) we got stronger & probably just about deserved it by the end. Fossey ( never a fullback ) & Jones very good again, Dapo too good to be on the bench really and did well in the no10 role, but MOTM to Charles who won't do much away from goal but is a constant nuisance to defenders & has real ability to make chances & get shots away with either foot from in & around the box.....I think he'll score plenty. For the simple fact he’d put all his heart in to us scoring, it’s his first proper season. He’s been to Sheff Weds and Accrington prior to today. He was upset cos all game he just had the hope we’d do well, it got too much for him, I tried to say “mate it’s 0-0, we’re not bloody losing, take that as a good thing” then boom,89 mins he was in floods saying it’s the best he’s ever felt and wishes he could relive that moment again and again. absolutely fantastic.
