Honest question as I’ve seen lots on twitter congratulate them.

Does anyone care how many an away side bring? It rarely crosses my mind.

I appreciate financials on all that but that’s not my job/worry.

Who cares how many away fans are coming?

I think for some teams and games it can definitely have an impact on their performance levels but outside of the I couldn't give a fuck whether they bring 500 or 5000 really.

Although it is annoying having it feel like you're the away side in your own ground noise wise.

If they're anything like us, it infinitely increases the chances of a home win 😃

This 100%.

Want to see my team do well. Doesn't matter who the opposition is.

Well we’ve felt like the away side on the pitch enough times this season.

Yeah it can agreed. Just loads of people saying great you are filling the away end etc. don’t get it at all.

Surely the football experience is about the match day atmosphere?

It will surely be better therefore with a large away following.

FWIW I think we will beat them too.

Atmosphere depends more if we're playing well/winning.

Of course a big away following can be noisy, but it's better still when they're quiet!

Agreed.  Its just better.  The pre-match buzz around the ground (especially in the days when we had pubs), the atmosphere in the first 10 minutes when teams and fans are all up for it and there's an edge on and off the pitch.  And when we score, its just better having them there.  Yes its worse when we're 2 down after an hour, then we wish they'd all stayed at home.  But taken as a whole I don't get why football fans wouldn't want an atmosphere in both ends, I've seen enough of away followings of 370 teenagers in a stand that holds 5k, when you can hear the players shouting even when we're 2-0 up against Doncaster or Crewe, I'm guessing there'll be noise if we're beating Sunderland or Sheff Wed.

Same. It seems this season more than most that fans are obsessed with how many you're taking here and how many there

Don't care whatsoever
