Not much in it until we made our changes, Sadlier & Dempsey were both very good & we were comfortably better than them after that. We've got some real threats going forward & are even scoring off set pieces now. Ace.

We were just coming out of the club shop as the scuffling started, couldn't tell who was who & a few punches were thrown but it was nothing much.

First 15 started well.

jones made that crap back pass and that seemed to lead to half an hour of shite.

they carved us open through midfield time and again.

sadlier and Dempsey were superb when they came on. Great response to poor defending for the equaliser.

we aren’t going to be great every game, ground it out, 3 points.

I do not get it at all, he’s essential.

As well as Aimson did covering for him today there was definitely something lacking without him there.

Also MJ is wasted when we have the majority of possession. A few times you'd have wanted him to make the run forwards but didn't seem like he even thought about it.

Morley MOTM for me, maturing week by week, lovely passer, well balanced and great set piece deliveries.

Sadlier sub was v high risk considering their RWB had marauded forward to good effect first half but he had a good half, did some good things and took his goal well.

Baka no world beater but coming on to do the late shift when Dadi or Charles have run out of gas he's a real asset, has a good knack of knowing where the ball's going to drop and sticks it in the net.

Thought Evatt could have made the Dempsey change earlier, distances between front three, midfield two and back three were too big even before half time and carried on that way. When he did come on Dempsey was great.

If we are as threatening as we've been last Sat and tonight but also as open when we roll up at MK it could be a basketball match, one we hopefully come out on top of

Scored one and responsible for one conceded

Hes no left wing back

Can only hope declandinho is  ok

And santos...how some folk cant see his value to us, dear me

Sadlier responsible for the goal?

Looked more like Jones at fault, Trafford seemed to be beaten too easily but from replay looks like a deflection.

First 10 mins, flew out of the traps, they couldn't handle us.

Rest of the first half, they worked us out, grew in confidence after Gethin's back-pass fail. MJ did nothing except make a few fouls and midfield was overrun. Seemed like they had 30 yards of space in the centre of the pitch at times.

Second Half, much improved but their goal was coming for about 10 minutes, was no surprise they scored even though it was poor defending.

Sadlier did well as an inverted winger and a cracking finish, hit it so hard you can't even tell it got deflected. Morley absolutely bossed it, he is outrageously good for 21 years old. Reads the game impeccably and has the technical quality to complete his vision. Dempsey also did well and his driving run into the box for his assist was great. What a team we have now. It's so refreshing.

Finally, another set-piece goal. You'd think it would be Morley's assist but I think Jones got a flick on at the near post before Johnston stooped to head it in. Straight off the training ground that.

I think we'll stuff MK Dons now.

Deserved to win over the 90 minutes but made hard work of most the first half.

I was impressed with Baka when he came on. Put himself about, seemed to create a bit more space for Charles too, his pace stretched their back line more than Bod. Got back to help out with a couple of decent challenges too.

Dempsey another good performance, MJ improved when he was playing - maybe he offers more protection than Dapo does to allow him to mooch further forward.

I like Morley and Johnston - these are 2 we could build a squad around for years to come. Both improving all the time.

Still think we’ve got too much to do. Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouths 2 games in hand will push it out our reach but at least we go into March still with plenty to play for. We could easily be like Charlton and on the beach already

Casino’s being over-critical of the fact that it started by Sadlier turning into trouble and losing the ball just inside their half, when there was an easier pass on that he could have taken.

After that I think MJ was too far away from his man as the ball got played into midfield (as he was all game, completely chasing shadows and more than a slightly off the pace - something wrong with him at the moment), Jones then missed the tackle, we didn’t close down quick enough and ultimately a lucky deflection sent it past Trafford.

If Sadlier had played the pass then it probably wouldn’t have happened but very harsh to say he caused us to concede!

Last season we ground out a lot of 1-0 wins on our run and at times it wasn’t pretty to watch

This season we have pace and firepower coming from all over the park and since January our options off the bench are very strong.

We have improved massively in 12 months.

I can’t help feeling that MJ’s days as a mainstay in this team are numbered.

Games without Santos

P1 W1  can't be that essential 😀

Joking aside I thought we coped OK without him tonight, but Jones wasn't his usual self and I think we missed his pushing out from the back and his excellent passing out to the flanks to build moves. Definitely rather have him in than out.

He’s that presence and muscle at the back I like Johnstone and Aimson but if you’re a centre forward you must look at santos and think kin’ell I’m in for a afternoon here.

Jones and Santos together work so well

Hopefully he’ll get the opportunity to show he can keep up as we continue to improve.

Sadly, when we get into full flow and we're looking to attack quickly like the second half last night, MJ slows the play right down, he wasn't looking for the forward pass and runners were straying offside and having to track back whilst he rolled it to Aimson who then rolled it back to him.
