Would imagine there will be a bit of a split between those going to Bolton via Manchester and those going via Wigan/Preston so shouldn’t be too bad really, especially as the trains are pretty regular.

Crewe station is not an issue with trains, well serviced by Avanti. 

Theres 4 per hour just to Picc after the game. 

Wont take long at all to get a few hundred Bolton away.

Only 1 in 4 is avanti and that ls the 35m journey so unless folk hang about in Crewe which some will the 17.11 will be very busy

Does it really matter if you’re on the train for an extra 20 mins or so? The 17.11 will be too tight anyway, esp with a lot added on etc…

So get a couple of cans and amble back. What’s the rush?

Point taken re Avanti but there’s still 4 trains an hour. 😁

Trains from Westhoughton and Bolton. 

Delays and cancellations .

7.59 - cancelled

Taxi to Bolton

20.18 - rochdale train to Vic. 

Tram to Piccadily

Well choice between 35min train & 1hour chugger I know my choice

anyway weathers good probably hang around for a bit
