We were relegated according to many a few months ago.

Play offs a 100/1 shot now and in all honesty we need to stay where we are and go for it next year.

Finish big and let’s hope we get a few more quality players in for a promotion push next year.

Bit flat, but it’s all about next year now.

Well, that's that then.

Safe, which was many people's aspiration at the behinning of the season.

A season of consolidation, ultimately, which had teased a play-off place early on & revived that on our very good post window run. For that reason we feel disappointed but maybe we should take the blessing of safety which, for a short time, looked in danger.

I suspect, if we analyse results, we'll find the crucial difference was when Gethin Jones was, or wasn't, playing.

Meh, fuck all in that game besides a set piece. They're a well organized unit but didn't offer much going forward (not that they needed to be) one set piece being good enough to take the three points. Just like Tuesday concede at such a bad time to make it a grind out job for the opposition where we may or may not get a late equalizer after 45 mins of trying to break them down all second half. We can't be playing a three at the back without Gethin (who can actually play out unlike Aimson) & Lee who provides a much more fitting link from midfield to attack. Looked decent in the 4-2-3-1 & should have scored not sure how Kachunga misses a free header at the back post. Built some great momentum but everytime we were on top the ref would kill it all by blowing for the softest things possible which he was destined to do all game. Then when you know it's not your day Fossey goes off injured to force us to play with 10 men when we're well on to, fingers crossed it's not a bad one. Don't really blame them for time wasting, nor any team especially at this part of the season as it's up to the officials to stop them & enforce disciplinary action yet this useless busy little prick just let them get away with it just like the ones who officiated Morecambe. Summer we need some proper CB's next to Santos if we want to mount a promotion push.

Sadlier has to be starting. He’s technically excellent. Baka and Kachunga don’t make us better at all

Dapo is a wideman, never ever a 10

We miss Lee & Jones badly.

Lets prep for the summer. A decent season

Tough one to take that. Had to win and didn't. Thought we deserved at least a point. Had the same issues that we did against Morecambe. Go 1-0 down and then they sit in, force the ball out to Aimson who isn't creative or pacey enough to do anything with it.

Switched to four defenders and instantly improved going forward but then they just timewasted and Fossey fucked himself with an innocuous injury and no subs left. Don't know how Kachunga didn't score at the back post. If he had done we may have even gone on to win that.

Season has fizzled out disappointingly in the end but from where we were in December/January we've come on leaps and bounds. So plenty of positives still, but now just seeing out the rest of our games, try and keep improving.

Start of the season staying up was all I expected we have done brilliant good signings in January we need a goalie and a CB Johnstone just not up to it. Also need a goalie not convinced with Trafford as for Plymouth green genie I hope you go up you deserve it mate .

The only way to deal with a day like today is to look back and look forward. Look back about 14 months to when we were rooted in the bottom half of League 2. Look forward to this summer when we can add the missing pieces to the jigsaw to make us a force in League 1.

We have to take our medicine and learn the lessons of days like today and put stuff right this summer. As others have said we need central defenders and holding midfielders. Do that and I'm confident this time next year we'll be in Argyle's current position.
