Meh, fuck all in that game besides a set piece. They're a well organized unit but didn't offer much going forward (not that they needed to be) one set piece being good enough to take the three points. Just like Tuesday concede at such a bad time to make it a grind out job for the opposition where we may or may not get a late equalizer after 45 mins of trying to break them down all second half. We can't be playing a three at the back without Gethin (who can actually play out unlike Aimson) & Lee who provides a much more fitting link from midfield to attack. Looked decent in the 4-2-3-1 & should have scored not sure how Kachunga misses a free header at the back post. Built some great momentum but everytime we were on top the ref would kill it all by blowing for the softest things possible which he was destined to do all game. Then when you know it's not your day Fossey goes off injured to force us to play with 10 men when we're well on to, fingers crossed it's not a bad one. Don't really blame them for time wasting, nor any team especially at this part of the season as it's up to the officials to stop them & enforce disciplinary action yet this useless busy little prick just let them get away with it just like the ones who officiated Morecambe. Summer we need some proper CB's next to Santos if we want to mount a promotion push.

Like anyone wants to be watching us in Championship anyway, it's wank.

We've gone from people predicting relegation and the demise of the club to disappointed to miss out on play offs, not bad!

Another season of League 1, hopefully laying waste to clubs that have found our struggles funny and some great aways? I'll take it.

Hes a good un but hes not the difference

They did a job on us today

We didnt even have the early blitz, credit to them

Get fit, add a couple and

He is the difference,  Gethin really helps link defence and midfield, he is very positive with his play and makes the right hand side so dangerous.  Aimson just hasn't got the same ability to play that way, he is too slow in his thinking and lacks ability to pass. He gets the ball alot but we do nothing with it. With Gethin in the team we win Tuesday and probably today. Integral to this team

Proud of them all to be honest. We was in a relegation fight a few months back and they been on an amazing run. We played some lovely football today and god knows how we not scored but that’s football. We not ready for championship. Another season building this team will do us no harm at all. Ian Everts a football genius.

I thought it was a poor game today but we could easily have won. Charles had a good chance in the first half and could've scored in the second when the keeper pushed it onto the post. I really thought Kachunga had equalised and if Bakayoko had put his shot a yard either side it was in. They scored from a badly defended corner. Their time wasting was horrendous but I'd expect us to do the same.

Assuming we’ll be alright financially, another year in league one winning more often than losing is a lot more desirable than getting smashed in the championship.

If we could find a few more Morley’s (who was excellent again) then we can build for the long term.

Disappointing result.

Anyway check out our form against the current top 8.

That’s the sobering reality for everyone who thinks next seasons play-off spot is virtually assured.

Take out Oxford and we’ve won 1 game and lost virtually all the others.

1/1/10.

... why ?

Because I want to call out the biggest bullshitter on here ?

I tell you what say what you want to say about me all you want I don’t really care anymore, you sound pathetic, but let’s arrange to meet so you can say whatever you like face to face and not behind a screen or anyone else.

They were better than I expected, we were unlucky not to get a point, on a good day we take one of the chances in the first half and win. Dapo has to play as one of the front men in the shape we started with. Jones a big miss again, we may well need him to play wing back or full back depending on Fossey injury.

Probably the worst collective performance in a couple of months today. Just couldn’t get going at all. Credit to Plymouth they had a game plan controlled the ball for the most part and snuffed out our main threat (Fossey)

its glaringly obvious the system doesn’t suit Dapo. He’s lost in there and hardly involved. Sadlier had more of the ball in the 20 mins he was in there (before we switched to a 433) and he played the role like a proper No  10. Roaming around, wanting the ball and trying to create. Dapo looked like he had another lease of life when he moved out to the left. The most he’d been involved for about 4 weeks!

johnstone and Aimson aren’t the answer defensively if we want to kick on next season. One thinks he’s playing all day and the other panics like fuck every time the ball is within 20 yard of him. If santos decides his future is elsewhere there’s a big job needed on that back 3 next year.

we get nowt off the teams above us and turn over the teams below so we’re bang on where we should be. The season Petering out to nothing is actually a welcome relief compared to the other tortuous ones

I'd have dropped Dapo for Sadlier, but agree with the other change

Its becoming one of the stranger team selections that Sadlier never starts, and that's while Lee and Dempsey are injured.  Looks the most consistent and creative of the attacking players. I'm not saying anything new, his quality has been obvious since his first appearance (what a signing, full credit to IE for that).

Dapo just not justifying playing in that position currently.  Great assist for the Kachunga chance mind, looks a different player on the wing, looks disheartened in the middle at times.
