A big factor for him being subbed is he was shite, and half hearted. Things picked up massively when he went off, hence the equaliser.

He’s obviously got some ability but he’s weak as piss, no heart and powder puff… not what you want as a footballer and I don’t think Evatt will put up with him for to long.

Amen Brother 😂

MK Dons on your tail.

We were pretty shit today and got a point.

We’re heading in the right direction. You will struggle in the championship. Cant wait for the next game.

Reet, here goes from a Wigan perspective ( well mine anyroad ). You were all over the place first 35 or so and looked nervous and we should have been out of sight. But we weren't and second half you improved no end to deservedly equalise.

Fair result and not the end of the world as we are still on track and you can finally get the flip-flops out and start planning your hols in Skeggy.

Maybe we overestimate the championship a bit.  Hull and Blackpool went up last year and stayed up comfortably with no obvious big investment.  And it gives us all hope that Hull have Tom Eaves up front (and McGennis till January) and Blackpool have Madine.  Although you just know they'd score a couple of headers against our defence and look like donkeys against everyone else.

I will grant you Blackpool but Hull are only afloat because there are two basket-cases in the shape of Peterborough and Derby (the latter because of financial meltdown).

I like Kachunga, it took him a run of games to get to his best and he was playing well before his injury

be like a new signing next season!

I still don't know what his position is?? He's not a wide player, he's not a striker, doesn't play as No.10?  Don't get him at all

And that pikey twat should be on a suspension, hope his injury is career ending, we were all over you pricks second half, now fuck off.

Would have snapped your hand off for 1-1 before the game so can’t complain. Hats off to our chauffeur, in a boozer in Atherton already. If they don’t want our money in Wigan then sod them. Shame we didn’t start as we finished or we’d have won it.

Had so many yoof hug me when we scored that I think I’ve got to sign some sort of register.

Disagree with that. Kachunga had a tougher start coming into the side that got battered 4-0 at home to these lot.
when he got fit he was our best player at times. Then got a big injury.

Dion came into our squad with all the January reinforcement and hit the ground running. Credit to him for that and yes I’d agree he has shown more than Kachunga but in no way would I write him off. He will have a big part to play next season for certain. People just love to hate him because his first 5/10 games for us included some poor performances and he was rightly criticised for it. He has stepped up since then

Awful first half, good second half. Happy with a point.

Hopefully Williams and Aimison won't start for us again.

Aimson got the assist didn’t he?

Agree with that. Plus Kachunga.

MJ been great for us but has been off it for weeks now. Aims on sadly not good enough. Kachunga showed nothing apart from a wonder goal v Cheltenham.  Just don't get what he brings. Might as well as not been on pitch today

Thought we were poor until the subs came on. Didn't think Wigan were much better though tbh. We finished the game the stronger and could actually have won it.

How Martin McGuinness didn't get a second yellow in the first half was shocking refereeing.

And with Fossey and Isgrove out for the rest of the season, Jones will be playing right wing back so Aimson will be playing the right sided CB. Unless Evatt plays Baptise or Senior there.

All this ‘should have been 4 or 5 up’ shite - how many worldies did Traff have to pull off? How many cleared off the line?

It was a fair result. They will struggle to stay up next season, they have no quality at all. Just strong, quick effective players at L1 level

I wasn't there today - but the stats say Wigan had one shot on target.......

How was the crowd. Did Wigan fill their ends?

There’s no place for kachunga in that starting XI. Especially in place of JDB

as I’ve said before, 2 new CBs needed. Aimson thinks he has 3 days to do something and when he does it’s wayward (cross for the goal aside 🤣) & Johnstone is petrified of anything coming near him. Including the ball

Dempsey in for MJ long term too

fair result today

Aimson just gives it away far far too often, he is massively exposed in this system and the position he is being asked to play and it is frustrating,  especially when we were struggling in that first half. Defensively I think he is alright, but his lack of ability on the ball doesn't help our cause.
