Said it before - as long as he’s our manager then we’re only going one way. There will be dips in form and other short-term setbacks, but over the medium to longer term he will only continue to take us up.

Not perfect, but by far our biggest asset.

Solid 8.5 out of 10 so far

And more 9 than 7

8.6 then? 😁

It's about where I'd have him as well. I could do without some of his public pronouncements but he clearly knows what he wants and how to get there and his managerial career to dates suggets only a fool would be against him - four seasons as a manager and in each season the club he's managing has finished higher up the league pyramid.

(I still think he got his starting eleven wrong today, mind).

Absolutely 👏

He’s passionate, he’s committed, he’s principled, he’s young, but experienced, he’s willing to learn, he has a a self belief which is infectious and most importantly he understands what it is to be BOLTON. I love him. I really hope (and I believe he will) he’ll take us to the upper echelons of the championship (and maybe beyond)

I love Evatt and have done since he walked in the club. I love his style of football but really hope he is still with us when we get to the championship.

I genuinely believe the football he wants to play is a bit too difficult for the players at the level we are at. We look better when trying to play a bit more direct.

Better players will have us purring. Considering we had maybe 7 1st team pro’s and that weapon Phoenix when he came in, a 45% win percentage is impressive

You might be right with the football he wants to play and the level and ability that some of the players are at.
This has to stay, this has to be his philosophy and never change the foundations of it.
Keep the ball, fast penetrating football. If we don’t have the ball, high press , force the errors get it back.
Everyone knows their roles, all players have dual roles, never stop running.

This now has to be the way and style that we play, the B team plays, the youth teams play.
It’s about having that identity as a club. This is who BWFC now are.

Love how other fans get wound up by Evatt.  He is provocative, aggressive , imposing and uncompromising.  Get a couple defenders like that and we will.be laughing all the way to the Championship. With the new owners and fans behind both exciting times ahead.

He has an arrogance & an obstinacy  which can be both his strength and his weakness but he's a guy with a plan & generally it is now working.

Very fortunate in those first 3 months that there were no crowds as he'd have got some real stick.

Obviously he has an eye for a player and knows the lower divisions well. Some signings have been inspired ... especially his two January exploits.

I love that opposition fans hate him. Good. F'kem.

1 more than Meggo and 1 less than Dougie

Yes, but we're in a better position now, club wise. Looking back GM and DF were delaying the inevitable. Debt was going up and morale was going down.

Evatt has not got the fans on his back. Apart from one or two.

saw this below the twitter thread.

Bet he doesn't do that too often!

Anyway, tremendous 100 games all things considered. Couple of rank spells in that, but we've come through then and can't grumble

That ball in the tree. One of Ali Crawford's shots?
