I find him utterly irritating. Poor man's Connor McGregor.

Same - just find him an obnoxious prick. Mind you that's probably his schtick. I think he's going to get badly found out pretty soon though.

My lad went to the recent london gig

I dunno if it sold out, but when i asked him what he had paid, he said dont ask

Maybe that was the train and hotel, i dunno

Either way, the annoying scouse git is making a name for himself

I think that lad from atherton is further on and id never heard of him and 2 weeks on cant remember his name

He’s selling his name and fights the fact that he’s had two fights in UFC and he has a thread on here shows you it’s working.

Hes a Dana White dream.

Hes a Dana White dream.

Getting himself known means Dana will want him higher up the card to draw viewers and so PP gets paid more. Winning formula for Paddy get as much money as you can, especially since one injury and the jig is up for him.

I fucking love him.

Love me a mouthy prick of a fighter.

Plenty do. I also know you have to have something about yourself when fighting, which he seems to have. It's this selling of his cult of personality that grinds me. I'm no fan of McGregor but he did the sell bit well. It was more natural so it fit. Pimblett seems to be trying too hard, and that ridiculous accent doesn't help. But fair fucks to him he's getting noticed. He just makes my teeth itch.

The justice for 97 at the end of his last fight made me cringe but it always does

Aye its just not for me.

Totally respect the fighters and the skill set along with fitness they need to compete.

Just don't enjoy watching it. The rolling round on the floor stuff spoils it.

Folk were creaming over Molly Meatballs reverse elbow the other week. Other lass wasnt even looking or defending herself. All a bit brutal for me.

This Paddy dude is box office mind, cant work out if hes putting on an act or he is actually unhinged. Type of lad who'd flip on night out and smash some fellas head for spilling his pint.

Simon Jordan made this point. Michael Bisping replied with this

He is ace, knows what he is doing to sell himself in his job to make money.

Its another talented, confident young British athlete for the old men to be bitter and jealous of...i mean angry about....

Aye listened to it live. Bisping came across really well and always does, although can never get Mark Freejack out of my head.

Im with Jordon in that it's just not for me. Its not fun to watch for me.

Personally dont think they should be able to smack folks heads in while they lay prone on the floor but if that's the sport and what fans want to see then fair play.

Ill stick the tiddlywinks on.

Listen next time when someone spills your pint at the masked singer and your Peg steams in with a spinning elbow to save you I’ll refer back to this

I'm the same. Never been particularly squeamish, but the few times I've watched UFC, I'm just anticipating a leg or an arm getting snapped, and the mere thought of it makes me feel physically sick. Think it stems from seeing an arm wrestling video years ago when one of the competitors arms broke. 🤢

IIRC a few years back someone refused to tap from an arm bar and so the oppo just snapped his arm.
