Not going so won’t see the fun

Likelihood is Gillingham down with them being at Rotherham but you never know.

First boozy home game of the season for me. Going to give Howfen a go to break up the bus journey rather than busting for a piss for 40 minutes on the match bus.

Assuming it won’t be open at 10am but will head for there after the game, cheers 👍

That crazy goal for fleetwood yesterday, means they probably scab it

Ridiculously harsh from the referee. I know rules and rules but it’s not as if the keeper gained any advantage whatsoever

Just watched the highlights. What did he give the free kick for? I couldn’t work it out without the commentary or build up.

Referee had given a free kick to Wimbledon in their own penalty area. Keeper hasn’t heard the whistle so dribbles the ball out of the area, effectively taking the free kick to himself. Indirect free kick given to Fleetwood just inside the area; roll the ball to one side and smashed in.

Wow, that’s really harsh. Standard league 1 ref.

Bit of a chain of events this week. I think we need Rotherham to win at Sunderland and be pretty much over the line. That would open the door to the Yorkies being on the beach when they play at Gillingham next Saturday lunchtime. That in turn would open the door to us relegating Fleetwood - provided the "Cod Army" don't get something v Sheff Weds at home this midweek.

Another way of looking at it is that Fleetwood are in such turmoil (owners business dealings) that they'd be a walking six points for us next year.

After this season's events I'd have quite liked Morecambe to be relegated. Given the fixtures its tough to see a scenario for that to happen.  If not we can have another couple of pops at them next season.

........ to be honest though the sooner we get back to playing real derby games the better.

That’s the angle to think of I reckon (plus I’d rather retain the local games where possible)

The free kick was for a foul om the keeper who then received treatment

Aye, the keeper really should have realised since the free kick was given after he'd been fouled, dropped the ball and received treatment.

I did wonder whether the ref could have used his discretion once he realised the keeper had forgotten it was a dead ball, blown his whistle and got him to take it again?

the keeper may have milked the challenge but he looked - to the referee - like he was taken out in mid air, then received treatment on the floor

i think he claims he never hear the whistle and assumed it was just an uncontested drop ball

my view, its a misunderstanding and the ref shouldve ordered a retake
