Members Rudy
How the fuckin hell do you applaud an opposition goal. I get standing there and going “Jesus, some hit that” but physically clapping it, nope never.

Take it as a feather in the cap that we’re cultured enough to appreciate it after a season of folk booing the ball going back to the keeper. Also, it wasn’t for Wolves (see above). Not a chance, a step away from becoming Fulham

In a game like today it goes with the territory. Appreciate good play when you see it (so long as it isn’t to our detriment). I thought you’d be an advocate of that tbf. Marc505
What a great day to round off such a memorable season, a lap of appreciation at the end we've not had that for ages and I actually felt quite emotional. They're the sorts of things I used to equate to the final home games of those heady Premier League days. Really glad for Charles not having to go into summer on a goal drought, hopefully that sets him up nicely to bag a hat full next time. COYWM. tomski
Not read the thread but that is the first away goal I’ve clapped maybe ever. Great finish. Other than that, great game great finish by the wanderers. That Charles goal was madness
jayjayoghani
Fourth goal meant we finished 9th not 10th too.
Deanu
In regards to Dempsey he joined us whilst semi injured & Evatt said he'd been recommended to sit the last few games out as recently as 10 days or so ago so but went against the advice which looks to have hampered him again. He's not got much time on the pitch but when he has got on he's a right combative jack in a box type midfielder, fingers crossed he like all the others get a solid pre season with no setbacks to show their value to us from the jump. Sunny day, both teams going for it, shake hands with folk who’s name you don’t know but you know they will be there again next season. Plenty of positives all round for a good tilt next time. Glad Fleetwood stay up. Easy trip and hopefully a chance to right the wrongs of previous visits and take six points from them. Good last day match . Everyone chilled, loads off here in the hotel. Mr Whitt organising photo shoots , remember when we were all incognito!!! Maybe next season we can get one of Casino and Jeep hugging it out. Pity the hotel restrictions prevented us from using the buffet area after the match most of our group headed off elsewhere , hotel lost some out on some cash. End of season jolly boys quickly arranged then Headed to Howfen with the Dog and Ashburner St. All the bars especially the Brewery Tap full of Bolton's finest, great to meet Leyther_Matt. Already looking forward to next season. Get that fixture list released. Please can we have Saturday's at Charlton , Fleetwood, Cheltenham & Sheffield!!!!! Pleasure to meet you, sir 👍 Ended up having a steak and two or three pints when we got back to Leigh. Last thing I needed was to be sat in work at this time on a Sunday morning. Matt Lofthouse
Lads first game yesterday, he loved it and has been buzzing since. Non stop interrogation on lofty since, who he was transfixed on, but that’s how it all starts. Cant wait for it to become our thing next season.
