Well, those details allow extrapolation of their situation.

The 125% bond is £2.34m

So a month's wage is £1.88m

x 13 month's, as they pay 28 daily, that's £24,440,000m pa.

If they sort everything out they're already on -8pts & counting & due to pay £6.1m out of whatever funds they get (if any) straight away.

Lovely, &, as they say, jubbly.

I love that the owners promised three sums, ranging from £700k to £20m. There's nowt like having a contingency.

They've spoken before about reducing the wagebill, I'm not sure whether it's 'by' ⅓ or 'to' ⅓.

These sums, from £24.4m will be to a wagebill of either £8.12m & £16.25m.

If the above £6.1m (so £2.12m or £20.15m) has to come out of it even the top line £20m being put in isn't going very far. Especially as their miniscule fan base isn't able to fund the operation and they have precious little of value to sell.

... & this is

a. Taking them at face value

b. Giving them maximum numbers.

Tick ️ Tock.

I’m sure i read somewhere that their weekly wage bill is £150k?

Someones way out.

Like the bit that the national insurance was two months behind till they got the injection of cash .

So that wouldn’t have been payed since the last cash injection by the owners the inland revenue will be looking at them closely

Strange that the board members that quit no nothing of this . you would think if there was any truth in it the owners would inform the board. that they have new owners lined up 🤔

Sometimes I think that Super League idea isn't the worst idea in the world. Let all the plastic fans watch their favourite franchise from the comfort of their front rooms every week - and leave a league behind that was competitive for normal football fans.

Don't think that all the big clubs don't have normal, innocent fans

Look at the fans reactions when it came up the other season

No one other than owners who want to make money want it

Charlie Wyke is on 10k a week. You've another 22 or 23 senior professionals, before you even consider under 23s, coaching and club staff.  150k would be way way way too low imo.

Even if it’s true and they have a buyer, the purchase of a football club takes months as we well know.

There’s a lot of wages to be paid before any deal is completed.

Personally i think it’s just a smokescreen dreamt up by the current owners.

”We didn’t pay the wages, because we are close to selling the club”

Yeh right.

As above, the 125% bond is 2.35 million

Near as damn it 2 million a month

No way is the average 5k, not a chance in hell

Obviously details are uncertain, but the simple 'give' was that the 125% bond is £2.34m. Everything rolls from that.

If true, about a sale, thats most disappointing

But another -3 gives em a mountain to climb

And im guessing they will default on the wages each pay day til it goes through

Fwiw, i find it unlikely that anybody buys at this stage

It’s weird how saleable they are when we found it so hard
