I can quite easily imagine everyone making drastic alternative plans for Ipswich or cancelling altogether, only for the strike to be called off last minute. Would be just our luck. Marc505 Posted July 19, 2022 Share Posted July 19, 2022 Not allowed a refund through Split My Fare for this, can only claim the money back to use on the same Grantham-Ipswich journey but at another time as I didn't book flexible tickets and apparently something extraordinary like a strike makes no odds. Grim grim grim. Thankfully it calls at Ely, can at least salvage the vast majority of the journey to use for Cambridge away, think Cambridge is only a short hop from Ely on the train.
