desperado
https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2022/august/202223-match-day-bus-service-timetable/ Bit steep. Gone up to £7 (Single or Return) I am/was an occasional user but at that price with kids in tow, I think I am now out.
radcliffe white
If you travel from this way it’s not bad value tbh but you get on closer it’s bloody steep also no concessions is taking piss it works out expensive before you even get to the ground

DomRepWanderer
We've decided to fuck the bus off, from Farnworth goes all round Bolton and takes an hour, train is only £7.40 and a lot quicker.
L/H White
I used it once last season, took me 1hr 20 from Tyldsley. Never again

Site Supporter barryk32 Posted August 4, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted August 4, 2022 This is what the Supporters Trust should be all over. The bus to the match is now more expensive than my season ticket Direct Debit. Its costing less to get from my house to Port Vale than it would from mine to the Middlebrook. Leyther_Matt
Tbf I think we should count ourselves fortunate that it’s still provided as a service. Can’t be many clubs of our size with such a comprehensive private service (albeit reduced from previous years). £7 does sound steep but I think an ‘any bus’ day saver isn’t far off that mark these days
Site Supporter Francis Fogarty Posted August 4, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted August 4, 2022 Does the club still subsidise the buses ? If not, it's sort of understandable, but if they do the bus company is coining it. From where I live it's miles away from the trains or I would give it a go. stevieb
Seven fucking pounds. Horwich to manc on a train is about the same BL6 mafia win again. Walking to the game squad! I don't think its the clubs fault given inflation and petrol prices. We're probably in no position to absorb that but it's a kick in the teeth for the dad and lad from a far flung ward of Bolton who have budgeted his season tickets based on the previous seasons bus prices. Not in Crawley
That's daft money, no way anyone in London would put up with that for public transport.

It's nothing to do with petrol. That is a stupid price for a bus to go to the match.
