Easier it has its own thread

Popped in, queue far to big with only one bar so went hotel

The setup though was really good, match on bit music, perfect

Spoke to one chap who did say there was another bar going in, which is great

First thoughts, to much food available and not enough drink, which is all that most fans want

Will definitely improve

Gin & Prosecco though

Agree with that. As I said in another thread, lessons will be learned. Not sure how it will work when the weather changes but it’s a positive move by the club.

Nipped in but didn't bother trying to get my pint after seeing the queues. Looks decent in there though and I'll use it in the future. Lad in front of us at match said he'd spoken to somebody official and that it'll be fully covered at some point.

Maybe you just weren’t looking in the right place. A bit further down from a normal eye-line would ensure a slightly less brief view of him.

Reckon you'll be surprised how well that will sell.

Still remember being abused by @Casino when he saw me with a gin in my hand a few years back. Think it was before Brighton away, but many moons ago so the memory is distant. He was drinking Carling.

Probably better to judge when they are not giving away free beer, probably a lot bigger queues because of that offer. But seems a good move by the club and sure they will make the right improvements

I called in and had to queue about 20 minutes. Card only was a piece of piss. Madri was ok, all in all not a bad experience. I’ll call again next match. Big screen was good and there seemed to be a lot of choices for eats.

Hopefully you’ll see M when he comes over and asks for a lemon and lime bitters. 😊

Fingers crossed (seeing him, not the lemon and lime bitters!). He sent us his itinerary this morning. 👍🏻

It’s a long itinerary. 😊

I was one of the first in, still took 20 mins to get served! They don't know how to serve hand pull. Not enough tables to sit down a kid 'reserved' the table whilst the adults were queueing for ale. It needs beer Keller style long benching tables to stop that shite!

Open air, not allowed to smoke or vape! Needs better signage, then get informed, have to go out to smoke  walk round & queue to get back in! If it's at capacity, you won't get back in to your pint! Shambles decision. All it needs is a fenced off area near the exit that you can smoke in & be a pariah! Plenty of space to do it.

Work in progress, it will improve but its not for me, I'll leave it to the ST geniuses with no experience to advise further, pfft.

Disabled toilet was leaking all over too, easy fix though.

Bar staff need to learn to just pour ale because it'll be sold, quicker service needed, agency staff aren't the people needed, time should solve that hopefully.

I

And I was told which queue to get in, off an ST official of my acquaintance. It turned out to be the slow lane, but she did her best. She said there would be more going on next time, tweaks will be made.

I've not seen her for ages and didn't know she was ST. Is It like being in the Masons? All top secret ?

Sacked it off pre match due to the queues

Post match did just fine for a couple of beers in the sun

This was decent pint as well

Called in fanzone ready to hate the experience but in all honesty was quiet impressed

Yes ,it was a long queue, but i got a decent pint at the end of it , unlike the shite i have been served up in the stadium for years

I think if we stick with it service will improve and it will be a good meeting point before matches

Meanwhile at West Ham

The price of a pint is one thing, but 4.20 for a bottle of coke is taking the piss big time

Sort those queues out and while the weathers decent it will make a good pre-match experience.

Didn’t sample the food, but having a nosey and listening to folk who did it looked very good.

They got the entertainment right. Good, big screen showing the early game, which wasn’t drowned out with wannabe groups flogging there unknown material.

The singing lads instead stuck to popular tunes everybody knows and sings along too; Sweet Caroline, Mr Brightside, Amarillo etc

Good start I’d say
