If we use the dixon test, traff fucked up for the goal

Baka, should have scored, other way we rave about a great save mind

Left exposed by us not having a left back, but it was a fair gamble

At least im not 300 miles from home

If that's a save from the keeper I make it the first of the season from one of our strikers attempts.Ā  I'm taking that as a positive.Ā  First time we've gone 3 league games without a goal since the last time we played at Plymouth, next week's game is already looking like an important one to stop the goalscoring rot as well as to keep us in the top half.

Totally agree, Iā€™m not calling for us to have the biggest budget but tactics can only get us so far. With the increase in crowds and sponsorship money youā€™d like to think we could spend a bit more.Ā

Managers always want more money really . Ā I think ours is competitive for league 1 so I wouldnā€™t use it as a excuse for not challenging. What we can do is be better at the simple stuff corners for example that doesnā€™t cost anything . Ā but it cost me a fire remote when a chucked one against the wall today . Morley didnā€™t Ā beat the first manĀ

Reality check for me I thought we would breeze this league but how wrong am IĀ

For me IE changes the team too much we donā€™t have a settled side we miss Bod and Kachunga is awful ask any Huddersfield fan about him.

Santos as been poor this season and should be dropped as for the transfer window we need a striker which surprises me as at the start of the season I thought we had enough forwards how wrong am I.

Luckily enough itā€™s only a few games in so time to sort it out but it does need sorting and I agree with comments about us being weak we really are !

Well done for saying that, but I'm scratching my head why anyone would expect us to breeze this league?Ā  No track record whatsoever for beating top half teams, and its virtually the same team this season so not like we're banking on a great new striker or even defender.Ā  I've no problem with us being a top 10 side if that's where we can be, and can see we aren't at the level needed for top 3 yet.Ā  I also think if there's one backward step we've taken compared to 12 months ago its the use of Dapo, somehow he's gone from our main man to just another squad player and I don't see where his goals are going to be replaced, Charles doesn't seem to be that man even though I see what he brings to the team.

The problem is I have been supporting us for 54 years and every season I expect us to win everything then reality comes in to play !Ā

Not on Twitter, well I am but dont get how it works.Ā  Is the evatt out brigade raising their voices ?

Santos fucked up and evatt knows it and possibly gave his first criticism with the 'we have to dominate both boxes' comment.Ā

Donā€™t see Dapo as a striker the change of position as not suited him looks better coming of the flank cutting in shooting or winning a free kickĀ

Mr evatt sorry you fucked up

Beaten by a team who wonā€™t finish anywhere near top 6

keeps going with kachunga Iā€™ve watched bwfc for a long time heā€™s one of the worst Iā€™ve seen

Mr captain needs a spell out probably give it DempseyĀ

Jones is vice captain, for a reason, a good organiser.Ā  Dempsey looks like a player concentrating on his own game - nothing wrong with that, but he never seems to open his mouth on the pitch and looks nothing like captain material to me.

As for centre backs we missed a trick in not signing the guy from Sheffield Wednesday who got released .

Good player but he's currently top of the championship with Reading (OK it won't last) and set up their winner today.Ā  I don't think he was a realistic target.

Can understand making changes for injuries/fitness but not 5 fucking changes every game.We need a settled side and build from there

It must be difficult to ascertain what is the best side with players constantly being in and out.

With 5 subs too, tiredness should be slightly less of an issue.

Obviously we have to trust IE, but the chopping and changing can't be particularly good for them you'd have thought.

They looked out on there feet on Tuesday then a long trip to earths end I expected the changes so would let evatt of with that one today . But yes in general to many changes doesnā€™t helpĀ

Don't mean to sound too negative, but I feel that we will never go up with this team currently, we are just too soft with a mistaken ridden defence and a very inefficient attack that waste chances.

Evatts football has enabled us to dominate most games and against promotion rivals but we have lost due to the reasons above. Improvements needed or signings, bakayoko and kachunga up front really doesn't strike fear into opponents.

Wigan and Rotherham didn't go up last year being soft like us and neither were we under parky when we got promoted last time.

Saying that we are a miles better footballing side than those teams.

A re-think is required, certainly against the better teams.

The move to a 3-5-2 changed our fortunes last season; the change to a 4-3-2-1 lead us to promotion the season before.

For me, it's time to revert to a back four. Have Dapo cutting in wide left, where he's at his best, Sadlier on the right, with Charles biting the ankles of the opposition centre halves. Width high up the pitch, a nice balance behind.

I like Iredale, but he doesn't offer what Evatt wants from a wing-back in our current formation in my opinion. He would as a full-back in a back four, though.

The system we play now requires us to be comfortably better than the opposition, and there will be plenty of times this season where we are, but it stifles us against the very best.

Weā€™ll make top 6 if weā€™re playing our best 11 available (assuming no major injuries). I canā€™t see us making play offs if we are playing a rotation - today is case in point. I donā€™t see Lee/Morley/Dempsey as a combination. MJ needs to replace one of them and Iā€™d start Dapo too.

You donā€™t drop MJ or play Lee and Kachunga against the better teams away from home, obviously only the opinion of a shit ex grass roots coach.Ā

Funny how you only post these insights AFTER the game.
