Didn't they make it 2 tickets per ST holder, which equated to more than our entire allocation before they even got to the end of the ST priority list?!

Aye

For the sake of the argument let's say we had an allocation of 30k and 20k sts

2 per st was never going to work

I got 8 tickets, 4 of which went to non sts

A complete shambles. Amateur even.

It was 2 per ST holder but the club, clearly learning nothing from the Watford play off final a few years earlier, handed over the responsibility of telephone sales to Ticketmaster.

As advised, I'd applied by post as had many ST holders in my family and around me. None of us were successful.  Wife's cousin had queued up instead and heard people in the queue ringing Ticketmaster and buying several at a time without checks if they were ST holders, so he did the same.

Gartsides handling of the whole issue and his initial response to the upset was appalling.

Has anyone else had trouble buying tickets online this season?

My dad had the same issue a while ago. Seems to be a problem since our debit/credit cards switched from Visa to Mastercard but I have selected Mastercard as the option and just keep getting this error...

Managed to get some of my own seats but not all as someone got there quicker. Bit miffed given that was at 9.45 before they were even supposed to go on sale, but I’ve got the right one so sod it 😊 suppose it’s a good sign if obviously non season ticket holders were so quick off the mark

I put my seats in the basket then all of a sudden the basket time dropped from 28mins or whatever to less than 5 and by the time I'd filled the payment details in and confirmed it on my phone app it was a close run thing whether it was going to go through. Don't recall it ever doing that before.

Living in Nottingham and a season ticket holder, I did as advised and applied by post. One of my mates text me from the Reebok on the day of sale and said ..."we've sold out " . Obviously I was upset and had a rant on here and on "the wanderer" ( is that still going ) . Someone advised emailing Phil Gartside direct (emails addresses were easy to work out ) . I got a call on my mobile next day , Phil Gartside , from his personal phone . He was very apologetic and asked if I'd managed to get a ticket. I said no I hadn't . He called me back a few mins later he'd had some returns ( I think wanderers put a shout out for returns) and sold me one  , he did the transaction , took my credit card details , apologised again . So respect to the bloke , he tried to remedy his cock up.

I seem to recall wanderers took advice from Blackburn about how they handled ticket sales when they reached the final .

As for the final itself , awful game ,we played rubbish , left bang on the final whistle , no clapping or any of that rubbish .
