Sue Smith, Scouser from Prescott. Over intense & desperate to be taken seriously.

But hasn't the screamy, volume control issues of most. I'm still undergoing trauma treatment after that bint on the Carabao Cup show. Jules Breach. Tidy enough but tidy doesn't make up for screaching.

I find that a bit harsh.  She comes on a football show to talk about football, and does it with eloquence and decent insight, without shouting like most of them do (especially Merson), or coming out with over the top opinions just to provoke reaction.  She seems less concerned about how she comes across than the others to me, she's just being herself.

Tend to watch and listen to cricket more. Isa Guha and Ebony Rainford Brent are good. Fit in very well with the regulars, Aggers and Tuffers etc.

I like Alex Hartley (met her in Tasmania) lovely girl but better on tv than radio for me.
Generally, women talk more sense than men. Proof of that is the fact that this board is 99% blokes. 😊

Was thinking about this. The generation of bloke pundits now retiring or being pushed out probably needed to keep on working in that game to some degree to keep money rolling in.

Conversely the top level retirees of the last 5 or 10 years will probably be thinking "fuck that for a 100k a year"

So you've got dead beat blokes who have spunked their cash in casinos or on divorces or just weren't that good anyway that no one wants to listen to or championship players that no one knows or cares about so sky don't go down that road.

Sky have probably got some box ticking quota on the go with the amount of womans elite (but at the time non professional) footballers now retired trying to make a name for themselves and a few extra quid in the same way the blokes did who retired in the 80s and early 90s.

Either way they're all 99% shit.

Nothing can be worse than Thogden surely? Heard they had him in the Sky sports studio the other day.

For bigging Bolton up, he’s ok. All he’s guilty of is loving his club and telling folk on YouTube.

I think you need to think about something else. It is just some dicks getting paid to talk sport.

Absolutely.

Don't have to watch.

Not sure about some of his visits to other teams, but if he's making a mint doing so, then fair play.

Folk are contacting him on his YouTube channel to offer freebies to their game in order for him to say nice things about a club or game. He's highly thought of us as a football fan and he supports our club. Not sure what’s wrong with those who dislike him.

That said, I’m often at a loss as to why our own fans take a dislike to any Bolton player who has Bolton on their birth certificate  as the place of birth. Maybe these are the folk who also pretend to dislike th’Ogden.
