Football doesn’t work so results can be predicted otherwise Ladbrokes, Fred Done, Sky Bet, etc., would never make money.

Sorry I meant the calculation one based on previous seasons standings how many we need for top 2 or 6 etc

not someones own predictions

Whilst we can all speculate all we like as to what/ifs when it comes to future results in the promotion run in based on performances to date , one factor that will have to be taken into consideration is all the new signings that have been made in this window and which clubs emerge stronger as a result

Forest Green for example - relegation certainties ? have signed a virtual new team

More relevant to us though is those clubs around us - some clubs seem happy to go more or less with what they have currently got - Ipswich and Plymouth along with ourselves being the most active. .

Don't know if I'm just getting old but that's what strikes me now about transfer news & gossip, whether its our league or Prem, I've never heard of 90% of them.  We're supposed to get excited when Chelsea spend £80mil on the next sensation and they may as well be signing a gymnast for all the impact it has on me.

Undoubtedly younger folks would know more than me, playing football games.

Just my own predictions - as I say pointless - but I think it's fair to assume the clubs that have been winning more than losing will continue to do so at a similar rate. Obviously football is impossible to predict but it's still fun to try 😂

I’ve tried but every time I do, Bolton go the entire season without dropping a point.

Whatever Brand Evatt plays - a player playing like this over the last month is going to be pivotal to our success.

Take a bow Mr Dempsey - a man in form

He needs a song…

Would hazard a guess it's one of the first month's he's been able to play every game

And who's idea was it to mix Praise You with Wicked Game? (It's not that bad actually)

He has been outstanding of late. He does a lot of the unseen dirty work, the water carrying etc and for a small bloke, loves going for a header. You can see why he was captain at Gillingham, leading by example.

But of all the things on that clip, the header to Charles at Charlton. Most players would have tried to score themselves rather than giving someone else an easier chance.

He started his run from way inside our half. Impressive lad, hope he avoids jail.

What was the Lever End song to Okey Cokey?

something along the lines of

You put the damper in, you pull the damper out…

And you push the damper in, and you pull the damper out,

but the smoke goes up the chimney just the same,

And you push the damper in, and you pull the damper out,

Sure someone on here said they don’t get Dempsey

He still doesn't at last post. Gone quiet since.

Like I said at the time, sometimes we make our minds up on a player, and it sticks.

One of my disliked players was Farelli. Had an ability to make it appear he was working hard and doing the yards whilst barely making a challenge. Total soft arse. Could have badges ten a season and I still wouldn't have changed my mind on him.
