Just don't bite, he is a WUM or someone's alternative personality,  either way a sad as fuck way to spend your life.

Aye it’s strange behaviour.

As he made reference to, there’s plenty of folk - including myself  - who, with a balanced approach, have criticised Santos today.

But when your only contribution to match threads is to wait months until there’s something to criticise, then it’s a sad reflection of your BWFC “support”

Spot on this Sheep. What I couldn’t understand mostly today was the complete absence of Lee who could have made so much difference with his experience. Five subs and he wasn’t amongst them and exactly how bad does Santos have to be before he’s replaced. Too much chopping and changing with Evatt I’m afraid, completely unnecessarily in my view so 3 out of ten for our manager today with both the starting eleven and subs.

I'm Lee's biggest fan but there was a common concensus on here that MJ should play today instead.  Let's be honest it was game over after an hour, once it was clear we weren't going to throw the kitchen sink at them 2nd half.  Lee would have had no more influence than all our other attackers unfortunately and that's no criticism, its just we were 2nd best whichever 11 were on the pitch.

I think radcliffe white and jimmy riddle are hughmongous' split personalities and when they join together is when hughmongous makes his appearances 🤔

Thing is I don’t jump on when he’s had a bad game, he’s not my cup of tea and I’ve been open from day one

Long season and I’d have taken 8 points from the first 5 games but it doesn’t make it any less shit to lose a big game like that.

Can't disagree with any of that, same start as last season, 8 points from first 4 and then losing the 5th.  We had 18 points from the first 11 last season and looking at our run of fixtures I'd snatch your hand off for that return this year.  Last September we scored 5 at Ipswich and 4 at Charlton, this team looks better on paper and definitely conceding less but it will take a big improvement or some very poor opposition to get us to emulate those games.

You’re definitely not on the same level as Jimmy. I think your criticism has been fair and balanced.

I probably differ in that I think Santos is worth his place despite a couple of poor games - but that’s a good debatable difference of opinion.

And you are quick to praise the positives and celebrate the victories, so no issue there 👍

Got some balance, before today we had the longest unbeaten run in the EFL, so it it a shit as it feels today.

As mentioned by everyone Bradley scores and it is a different game. I still can not believe he missed.

The subs had minimal impact and we ran out of ideas very quickly in second half.

Oh what Santos did today was shite, and he was too easily wound up last weekend for his first booking, no one is free from criticism but we have too many 'fans' looking to blame players who easily forget the good/great things they do. But JR is just a tool.

Nah, I don't think it is Radcliffe, he doesn't like Santos much but he ain't a WUM in my opinion.

Cheers mate, yes it works both ways I can be critical but like you say praise when needed. Like I’ve always said be dull place if we all same opinions

anyway we dust ourselves down and hopefully beat villa

Cant be arsed reading the evatt out brigade but today we seemed lethargic in all departments,    no getting away what Santos did which caused the few minutes of daftness.    2nd half we still didnt do as we are capable.

Poor performance,   these things happen.

Lets see what happens in the next 5 or 6 games. We’ll be fine.

I'm taking that as the reassurance we're all needing😄  Desperado to start the predictions of the next run of matches maybe.  I'll take winning as many as we lose for the foreseeable because the fixtures look tough on paper and we look a little bit under par.

Outclassed? you're avin a larf! We where much the better team until Santos' brainfart and the few minutes afterwards when it all went to pot, then sheff wed played as a team 2-0 up. If Bradley had scored minutes before it would have been a whole different story and you'd probably be on here saying how we outclassed them

At least someone is talking sense!

Were we at our best? No

However credit to Sheffield, they did their homework, so we couldn't be at our best. I thought they were very well drilled, got the opener through a bad mistake & poor recovery. The game was always going to go to whoever scored first.

Need to get something at Plymouth if we want to be up there amongst the front runners.

Don’t like saying this because I’ll get slated but said at Ipswich, our weak spot is Jones.

He’ll play a role for sure but for me, certainly him and probably Santos have reached their ceiling. Upgrades probably needed to get over the promotion line.

They aren’t dreadful by any stretch but a little bit more quality is probably required. Can we afford it without a sale? Probably not.

I don't have a problem with either player, but I have a slight problem with their status of must-pick/never subbed if available.  It does seem we have a situation where its routine to say John has had a bad game, or MJ looks a bit off the pace, or Baka shouldn't start games, but Jones status in the team is rarely questioned.  I love the bloke and he's a quality full back, but I love watching Lee too but recognise he shouldn't be an automatic pick.

You know me well to turn this into a positive 😃.

I think Villa is the perfect game to come next. A nervy game against an underdog or  another similar league one team to go toe to toe with could have numerous pitfalls. But there’s not much to lose from the Villa game. Go out there and give a good account of ourselves and a positive result is a bonus.

More importantly they take a good performance into Plymouth next Saturday.

I’m confident good performances and results are round the corner

The longest unbeaten run was good but for a bit of perspective the 7 wins in the 12 games were against Fleetwood, Cheltenham, Accrington, Doncaster, Crewe, Wycombe, Morecambe.  You can only beat what's in front of you but a fairly kind run of fixtures, sandwiched between home defeats by Plymouth and Sheff Wed that illustrated where we're at.

I'm neither half full or half empty, perspective, win or lose. I enjoyed today, Iove watching us play and the atmosphere, its rarely dull and we don't have a player I don't enjoy watching. My brother came from Lincoln and enjoyed the game and performance of both teams.  I know where we're at and if we finish 10th or whatever I'll look forward to each game.  But I won't be coming on here saying I expect us to win regardless of opposition like some do, a bit of realism and yes we beat the bottom half teams currently and don't beat the top teams.  Nowt wrong with that, make the most of it, its been a lot worse.

Bradley scores and that was a completely different game. Having said that, Wednesday look a solid, well drilled team likely to be thereabouts at the end of the season.

If someone had said I will see 3 wins and 1 loss before heading back down under, I would have snatched their hand off.

Quick word with Sharon and Mr. Evatt before the game thanks to Little Whitt! That lad will get where water won't 😉

A pleasure and a privilege to catch up with Little Whitt, Satan Greavesie, Barnstoneworth, Casino, Steejay and Jules+Junior+Senior (massive favour in getting me to Stockport and beyond thanks to the train strike - cheers mate!), ANewman and Junior, Mr. H, Meldrew and Junior.

Also a pleasure to put the following faces to names: Micky D, Gonzo and Junior, OggyBWFC and Embankment (plus Ashburner St Fish market, Sputnik and Pinnochio's Dad).

As I have always known, no fucker comes close to matching BWFC fans. Bolton til I die.
