CambridgeBWFC
Until that horror show they had offered very little, we should have been one up and bradley rushed his chance. But that was just inexcusable from Santos

Site Supporter RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted August 20, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted August 20, 2022 Adding to the shite backpass, Santos stood absolutely still until Trafford hooked it out & then ambled back, no urgency...... Evatt will rip him a new one at half time.
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 20, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted August 20, 2022 Huff and puff with no end product. OK major mistake at the back, but the front two are offering nothing with their back to goal, and when we do get a ball over the top, there is no support. No crosses or through balls neither. Bradley is excellent again, but the rest disappointing. Not worked the keeper at all. Fair play to Wednesday- nullified us largely, and once given a goal looked the better team. waffer cup 07
Apart from Bannan, they are bang average. Apart from Santos wev'e played ok. We can still get this back.
Deanu
Can't really fault Bradley for his miss, he's a defender who's the only player capable of producing an opportunity out of nothing on the basis of that first half. There was nothing at all in the half between us but fuck me what the hell was Santos thinking... you never play it towards your own net especially blindly playing it... he plays it to the side of the net we lose a corner & hopefully get away with it. The panics set in & our squad is a young bunch so hopefully we don't end up getting hammered here as our heads dropped. Few players have been very quiet & are anonymous so we might aswell switch it up to have a go second half because our gameplan has gone out the window. Shot ourselves right in our own fucking foot but that's going to happen at times when playing around the back too casually. Get on the lads who will get some shots off now Dion, Sads ect

If I was Aimson would be having a little chuckle and looking for a new club coz if he gonna pick that calamity in front of you every week your card is marked. Calm down, it was shite and Santos can be prone to mistakes but he has also won us plenty of points in his time

CambridgeBWFC
Awful second half, lacking any creativity and barely anyone worth crediting. Two mad minutes and it's all over. Big wake up call.
Arrested development
Reminds me a bit of Rotherham last year. Except no worldies this time. Just two quick goals and it was all done. Nothing was won or lost today. There were some poor performances but just draw a line and move on. They did a job on us and they'll be up there at the end of the season.
Mounts Kipper
Reminded me of the Rotherham game last season, out powered all over the pitch, it’s a wake up call for sure, need reinforcements in and folk moving out.
barrycowdrill
Couldn’t make today so can’t comment on the overall performance however by hook or by crook we cannot fall in to the same trap as last season. Beating the mid table fodder then failing to beat our competitors. You do not get anything in any league by beating the also rans approach / concentration / application whatever it is needs to change and quick
radcliffe white
Bad day and a slight reality check Santos shouldn’t have started too much tinkering by IE hopefully now Charles & JDB are fit they start from the off Baka doesn’t work
Lt. Aldo Raine
Beaten by a team good enough to pressure our style of play out of us. I don't think they were even at full strength either.

paulhanley
We've been knocked down a peg or two there today. Just emphasises what a tough league this is with so many big clubs around. Two more fixtures against the more fancied sides in the league now with Plymouth and Charlton so we're having our mettle tested.

Mantra
Sheffield didn't do much to deserve that win. We basically gave it to them on a silver platter. I'll give them credit for defending well 2nd half, timewasting and taking their chances but we should've been 1-0 up a couple of minutes earlier with Bradley and we went to absolute shit after 2-0. Thought 2nd half we might come out fighting but somehow played worse. Anyway, it happens. Santos will learn to look before he passes back next time hopefully.
