Worst performance of the season by a country mile. Nobody comes out with any credit bar Trafford. He made an unbelievable save to keep it 0-0.

Too much hoofball second half. Giving the ball away. All three of the starting centre mids were a fucking embarrassment.

They need to draw a line and move on quick because if they play like that against Forest Green they will get beat again.

Looks like IE went for a point.

Only one team actually trying to win tonight and they fully deserved their 3 points. Well played Cheltenham imo.

Tbf he went for it with the 5 subs. We had more than enough attacking options on show tonight. We just couldn't pass wind.

They fully deserved it sadly , concerning the lack of attacking quality from the midfield although defensively M.J and Thomason were everywhere .

MJ and Thomasson were fucking woeful like the rest of them. Offered zero protection.

If we're giving credit for playing well then we have to criticise when they play poorly and both were fucking wank all night like everyone else.

That's your opinion , for me attacking wise they offered zero but defensively they won a lot and needed too.

Frustrating.

as per earlier post, games like these we seem to never be able to find a way to grind it out. We need to be taking something from these.

Like evatt said these sort of games will show how much we have improved from previous seasons can we go there and grind it out  Played a more defensive line up today and still got beat may be we don’t have the depth in squad and grit yet and the conditions and pitch were pretty good tonight

Well that was very un-Bolton/un-Evatt like. Little creativity, giving the ball away cheaply, subs having no impact on the game, not brave enough in possession.

Very bad night at the office.

Well if we are talking 12 points from the six games including today, it’s now 15 to play for, we need to win 4 of next 5.

We’ll need to play a lot better than that at FG. Lee and Bradley back in for sure.

So by that way of thinking we are going backwards, as im sure we won there last season!
