Apparently, Highways England or whoever arrange closures have cancelled the roadworks. Maybe they’ve been inundated with 4 letters of complaint.

absolute nothing club MK, soulless stadium shit fans total embarrassment

Sent my head all funny. Had to keep reminding myself it was a competitive fixture. Sounded like a swiming gala.

How can they sustain that?

Lets hope they cannot

The owner stole a club from under the noses of its very supporters, moved it 60 miles north and renamed it

No true football fan will ever lose sleep were  MK Dons to fold

Because of their origins they will forever top my list of Tin Pot Clubs

it would hurt the loyal MK fans just as much as it hurt the genuine Bury fans

you really think a 12 year old wouldnt be gutted?

i know its not a popular view but those fans deserve a club of their own just as much as a bolton fan

we did speak to a few of em last year, and it seemed MK are very much a 'second team' for the parents (after arsenal or united), but their kids said their team was MK

Interesting one this. In principle completely agree with you.

That saying That Wimbledon we’re dying on their arses and we’re going to the wall in my opinion.

Over time I think it worked best for original Wimbledon and got them back to plough lane or a version of it.

Wimbledon then did the thing they were appalled at by stealing Kingstonian to a degree.

I get why the sets of supporters dislike each other but I don’t give it a second thought as an outsider.

MK dons is a weird one as over time I can see them getting bigger. Ground and catchment area is there and I think in the next few generations they’ll dwarf AFC Wimbledon.

They are odd bods though. I remember going to Mk away having a few pints in Bletchley and a bloke had an old Wimbledon top but supported and moved with MK. He tried to explain why he wears his old top but made no sense to me.

Lastly some of the AFC youth were bellends in our game down there and for that my sympathy wains. For the alright ones (plentiful) I think the last 20 years have been far more interesting than if they hadn’t divorced as such.

Am sure any fan growing up as a fan of MK Dons would be gutted

But for me its the principle - the League should never have allowed it to happen

( Am not even sure as to whether League rules actually now prevent what happened with Wimbledon/ MK Dons from happening again ? )

But they did allow it -and for me that wrong will only be rectified when that club folds

And then I would say to those fans If you are really committed to the cause build your own club like AFC Wimbledon / Aldershot/ Newport County Etc have had to do

then you  will have earned the respect of the wider football community

Just reading that the town was built in 1967. Not a particularly old place and not really surprising that the place doesn't have a footballing history and much of a fan base.

Compare this to a town like ours with a substantial history and a natural development from small villages over time.

Nevertheless, now that it has a league club, and new generations coming along, then it's fanbase is going to emerge.
