  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

This is a mate of mine. There’s no way he was every handing keys over.

He won’t have taken too kindly to the attack and would’ve fancied himself in a scrap without the knives.

Thing is though, all black clothing, baseball cap and balaclava is a bit of a giveaway that, “I’m a gangster, me!” Cops should be pulling them in on every available opportunity. They’d soon get pissed off and realise their ‘uniform’ is like having a sign above your head saying, “I’m a dick. Search me.”

Is he alright Micky?

Very strange subsequent post off Carlos suggesting he deserved it.

Sorry if nobody wants to say anything more, just got me proper curious as this.

This is what I’ve been trying to find out

The tidal power contained in the Severn estuary could power half of Britain indefinitely.

But it would cost billions to build. Many billions.

And we don’t have them because we prefer wiping the value off gilts or summert.

Either way, we have energy available, but it wouldn’t make much profit for oil giants so it’s a non starter.

To be fair, “a friend” was probably over doing it. We used to drink in the same place and, as Carlos points out, he’s a bit of a pillock. My point that he wouldn’t have willingly handed over his keys wasn’t saying he was a fighter, more that he still thinks at 65 he can do what he could do 40 years ago.

Turbines are the visible proof of government investment in renewable energy generation. Looks like they’ve put them up for show without completing the infrastructure. You’d think if a brick out-house full of battery storage wasn’t enough then a second brick out-house full of battery storage alongside it might help.

If they are visible proof of the government doing something then they wouldn't then change tack and make it nigh on impossible to get planning permission for a wind farm when they had previously made it almost impossible not to get permission

You'd think they would complete the job, build all the infrastructure and keep going

Odd how they stopped

I don't think it is that serious... I'm yet to actually be disrupted by these people. Have you feller? Waiting for the day. Got close over here once with something called the Roe 8 Highway extension where rent a mob protestors moved in and tried to block a main road along which I travel to work. The cops here didn't fuck about. Managed to get the odd 'get a job you workshy cunts' in creeping by with the car windows down.

Has anyone else on here? I'd be surprised if many have.  I don't think the attention seeking twats have considered Bolton yet so hardly a valid argument.

They're not running the place. The Tories are, and they're doing a woeful job of protecting us from and preparing us for the worsening climate crisis. Deflection.

Sitting in the road won't solve this, even if it does get people talking. And I don't deny it's annoying, but I still wouldn't want to see our police kicking the fuck out of them. I find it weird that you and Royal get off on seeing that, each to their own eh.  Yes, each to their own. Seeing it is not enough. Involvement in moving these law breakers would be most enjoyable.

You should move to Perth, you can bollock them from atop your Penny farthing there

"....so I said to him ' get a job you workshy cunt', honest I did.

And then guess what? I wound down my window again and said it to another one!! Mad eh?

Yeah, it was ace."

Barber: "you do realise it's OAP special day tomorrow?"

Classic Bolts, classic. Top bantz from our man down under. Fuck the wetlands and the money - you tell 'em.

Here are the jobless protesters running scared after being shouted at by an English bloke from his car. Well done, Bolty, well done.

Bolty Pickering.

While there is a lit wrong with this country if ours there are still a lot that is very good too.

I know the NHS is stretched to the limit and underfunded but it is still an amazing service, well it was for my son this week anyway. Went to docs on Wednesday as the youngest had really bad stomach pains, doctor examined and said likely constipation but not 100% so laxatives and said she would call on Friday to see how he was. Anyway early hours of Friday and the lad was throwing up and in a lot of pain so I rang the doctors and she rang me back within 10 mins and saw him within the hour. She examined him again then rang Preston hospital and got us referred to the paediatric unit. The doctors and nurses there were brilliant and he was straight on antibiotics and pain relief, a scan done the next morning and appendix removed later that night. The staff were so kind and reassuring as he was really worried about having an operation, top drawer all round.

On shore wind isn't going to get massively helped by Truss in any way, shape or form, and solar maybe getting "checked".

I can accept onshore restrictions if offshore compensates.

However new techniques allowing farming and solar to co-exist are proving very successful. If she does go down the road of restricting them then she's off her fucking tits. She needs to do some bastard reading- the solar industry, just like all sorts of renewable technologies is on an upward curve and we shouldn't be shunning it because it doesn’t look particularly nice.

Stop being culturally insensitive RW.

Imagine it the other way round. Just imagine it.

Decades and decades of English men and lads raping 13 year old Pakistan Muslim girls?

Absolutely horrific. 😥

Absolutely disgusting.  Anyone involved, including those who knew but turned a blind eye, need the book throwing at them.

No doubt some knew what was going on and those should be banged up

remember back up Walmersley road when I was a kid the amount of complaining locals did to the authorities about Asians grooming at Clarence park it went on for years

See groups of young girls kicking about down Central Drive. In and about the takeaways and barbershops.

So easy for them to fall in to.

The defence* will make a big deal about the 13 year old being promiscuous and sexually experienced, and no deal at all that it is with these very people they gained the experience and promiscuity. They try to forget that sex with a 13 year old is a statutory rape charge as the 13 year old is not old enough to be consenting.

*I know an accused person is entitled to representation but who the fuck would want to represent these men?

Is it the case with legal aid ones they have no choice in who they represent?

Obviously the top QCs, lawyers etc can pick and choose who they represent, and for the right fee, but for those further down the line they have no option as the legal aid provides a regular stream of work they can't afford to turn down

It would be a shit gig where maybe the best argument is reduced sentence rather than trying to argue they didn't do it
