The thing about events like this, is they're never going to paint the people involved in a good light, especially those too stupid to realise they're having the piss taken out of them on camera. Only scumbags, thickos, attention seekers and poorly educated people go on these kind of events. It's about time they banned them altogether, or (and I don't know how it could be done) but make sure those attending pay for the policing that is inevitably required

Does that go for weekly Palestinian supporting events in London too?

On a different note, three young relatives (two with partners) moved here permanently in the last month - two nephews and a niece (exaggerating slightly as one couple arrives in Perth this coming Sunday). One couple went to Melbourne, the single nephew arrived two days ago and is staying with a mate in Fremantle.

All permanent moves (one way tickets) and all in their twenties. Obvious economic benefits (one already lined up for FIFO at a Pilbara mine site on stupid wages). You would have thought that economic considerations would be the only motivation. Not so. All three concerned about the future for themselves and their potential offspring and the opportunities which may be limited in the face of burgeoning and seemingly unstoppable immigration to the UK. Refreshing to hear it from ones so young. Would have expected them to be wanting to throw open the doors like the brainwashed and that damaging kraut cretin Merkel.

There's a few starting to creep in again on the north coast over here under Albanese's red rags. Hoping the blues get in next time and plug that dyke once more. With gunships.

Yes, absolutely - any type of protest/march. Ban the lot of them, unless those doing them, are prepared to pay for the policing.

in fact, more so, as fuck knows what they think they can achieve by supporting Palestine here in the UK. Let's be honest, any of these type of "march" are pretty much designed to be antagonistic in some way or other, hence there will invariably be trouble.

Mrs Sweeps cousin moved out there about four years ago, as she was a worried about what was/is happening here in the UK, ironically, it was BREXIT that tipped her over the edge. Interestingly, the longer she's been out of the country, the less tolerant she has become with regards to the situation here in the UK. She also, sadly, loves GB News :)

She does love it though, spends several months a year working on farms, in bars and general tourist hotspots, to pay for here to travel the rest of the year. She's only 30 (I think) and she won't be coming back to the UK. Funnily enough, she was recently in Perth, and she didn't like it, said it was like a large retirement village, as there was little going on (or nothing that would interest a 30 year old single girl)...........although, apparently not as bad as Canberra, which she reckons is the dullest City in the world. Adelaide she absolutely loves, and she'll be heading back there in a month or two.

She's apparently currently working in a place called Coober Peedy or something, and she lives in a cave (this may be wrong, as I'm rarely listening)  -  Mrs Sweep keeps saying we'll go out and visit her someday.......which of course we won't be doing (or not until I retire at least)

The illegals are massively outnumbered by the legals.

But being a bright bloke I imagine you already know that.

Yes I do know that. I still have a problem with illegals. As does every country in Europe. Not sure what you are saying.

Aye the longer they're kicking around waiting for their cases to be heard the longer it is before they can contribute.

Rwanda isn't a deterrent, knowing they will be processed quickly and any found taking the piss will be returned to sender would work much better.

Those taking advantage do so knowing how rubbish the authorities are at processing and keeping track of people in the system so once here they can slip between the cracks and work cash in hand to avoid the MAD MAX.

Also isn't it one for one with Rwanda?

So for every one we send they send us one

Great at reducing our numbers

Plus it was only going to be a few hundred and they've sold of half the housing

Whilst we've paid them £250m

All interesting stuff. Obviously great taste in news feeds and I get the Perth thing if not quite the Adelaide thing (even though I probably would choose it as my second favourite city to live in down here - close call with Melbourne).

Perth is a great city for bringing up kids and having a great and lucrative career. Night clubbers and the like were probably the source of the 'Dullsville' tag so I understand where she is coming from on that score.

Interesting place Coober Pedy. Probably the opal capital of the world and loads of excavations which have been turned into dwellings. Apparent lovely and cool in the height of summer and warm in the depths of winter. Give me a loincloth, a club, and a 25 year old Racquel Welch lookalike and I'm up for it.

Keep trying pal. Definitely not that piss as well you know. No fucker knows what it is down here! Another con job on 'the poms' is the way it is explained to me.

You know what the true reasons are of course. Comfortable ruts are hard to escape.
