Incredible visual onslaught of a scene but also has 2 of the funniest moments in cinema in it, the guy who gets shot in the helmet and takes it off to look at it then get his brains splattered everywhere and the guy bumbling about with his missing limb as if he's looking for someone to stick it back on.

Besides the respect being displayed at an appropriate level angle, this would have been one of his very last chances to rub shoulders/ play the statesman amongst world leaders.
