Accrington (A)

Fantastic as soon as those changes were made, and fair play to Evatt for such a major change after 50 mins.

As much as we looked gutless in the first half, as soon as we got some confidence in us it was like a different team - more than matching their shithousery, crazy what a goal can do!

Dapo has given Evatt a serious headache for next week. He’s unplayable in that position, but Evatt has to change his beloved 532. He’d be a brave man to start the next game without Dapo on the left wing (and not fucking wing back!!)

Up the whites

One for the record books, coming back from 2-0 down away from home happens very, very rarely. Mansfield away season before last, Northampton away in 88/89. Can't think of others off the top of my head.

Was in despair at half time. Glad to bury Accrington's little jinx although it only applied at their ground anyway.

To truly erase that three goalless games previous to today we must press on and be clinical in these two upcoming home games now.

12th Oct 1992, Chester away. 2-0 down at half time and fans around us saying Rioch was the wrong manager and should go. It was the 12th match of the season and we’d only won 3. Reeves and McGinlay scored to even things up. We then went on to win 9 in the next 12.

Went with Greavo and others that day. We finished 2nd.

Its a marathon not a sprint.

Imagine being 6th and wanting the manager out

Imagine being obsessed with wanting to be a smug bastard?

it’s been dog shit for weeks and it only worked today when he changed it. As mentioned by many we need to change formation to work.

Forest green was awful, Cheltenham similar.

fair play he’s changed it today but maybe we need to play a system that suits our best players from the start

Remember it well. Coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 away has been a bit more common but I get the comparison. We were 2-0 down at Rochdale in Neal's Div 4 promotion season and came back to draw 2-2 as well.
