Surely there's enough empty seats for you to move a bit? Just buy the granddaughter one, and find a space. Not much the ticket office can do if IL1/2 are sold out...

What is so hard to understand

Ticket office said there are NO ESL tickets left

In the entire stand? If so, I agree that is ridiculous. But you said IL1 and 2.

Cheese please read my quote again

I have, and it is ridiculous. I refuse to believe the entire East Stand Lower is sold out. Something has gone wrong somewhere.

I agree but that's what they said That’s why granddaughter can't get 1

Bad time to release that Car Parking article, after 2 dire performances. The content is fair enough though.

Apparently we sold 100 half season tickets on day one of release. Quite possibly more will be sold as Xmas presents.

100+ Primary schools in Bolton. Family ticket (x4) means approx 400-500 extra people in the ground.

So already possibly 600+ extra fans on the gate for the second half of the season. Some of those families on the freebies MAY come back for a 2nd helping and pay for the privilege or take advantage of the next discounted home match.

It’s all good news.

How far ahead do you sell match tickets? Could be Derby on Boxing Day is sold out for ESL so a season ticket can't be allocated

Not sure, but Derby tickets definitely aren't on sale yet.

Not more than a month ahead, I don't expect the Derby tickets to go on sale before end November.

The lack of tickets in ESL will have a direct impact on the attendance at every game now, but especially the big one against Derby.

The family/mates I take to games over the course of a season simply won't go if ESL isn't an option, they don't go to sit on their own.  The cheap kids tickets could be costing the club money because an adult would be paying £25 for one match but they can't go because someone's paid £35 for the season to have an empty seat next to them.

Don't let that thought spoil your weekend green genie 😁

I bought tickets for Oxford at home (29 October) on 28 September and they’d been available for a week or two. So, I’d guess around 5-6 weeks in advance. Tickets for our home game against Bristol in 7 weeks’ time are not on sale yet.

We have similar issues as club doesn’t like to open blocks next to away fans until rest sold out, but lucky if you can get a pair in most blocks.

Anyhow , about to settle down to watch the league leaders backed by 2500+ Janners after morning digging in garden and collecting Brizzle Tovers tickets so let’s hope the football doesn’t spoil anyone’s weekend

Lots of empty seats in ESL today.

Looking across from WSL the two blocks of ESL nearest South stand had about 4 front rows which were very sparsely populated. I’m not having it they’re all sold to season ticket holders who all happened to be missing the game.

I received the email today

In order for your school to request one free family half season ticket, we ask a representative from each primary school within the Borough of Bolton to please email ticketsales@bwfc.co.uk providing us with a contact name, the name of the school and describing how you will use your free half season ticket within your school community. A family ticket includes seats for two adults and two children.

Email contact, name of school and a named teacher will be passed on, so it fulfills the communication box.

What I’m not sure of yet, and will ask today, is whether we can send different families each week, which I’d like to.

Whichever way, great offer from the club 👏

Received our 4 last week. Got 2 different families using them on 27th Dec and 7th Jan

Will be interesting to see if these affect attendance in any significant way - I doubt it.

But hopefully the families who use it get some enjoyment and possibly even the BWFC bug, especially from our school community who are largely of Indian heritage.
