like summat set in the future using modern day items.

why did star wars use vector graphics from a 1980s arcade game to show the demo on how to blow up the death star, when they have flying spaceships with manufactured gravity ?

the princess leia hologram message is stored on an floppy disk, iirc.

theres loadsa examples.

The Jetsons is probably a good one.

Metropolis (the fritz lang film from 1927) is probably full of it.

a lot of it looks acronistic , but i didnt mean it like that, i meant it like how art deco or whatever looks good.

the old braun appliances (shavers, radios, etc) have good style.

if i could find it...

Nope.

Not a clue.

(It's 'Anachronistic', btw)

mustve been only me that saw it.

were on 'on the ball' or another granadaland quiz or summat, early 80s, pretty sure peter reid played for bolton in the episode i saw on youtube.

the wordmark looked like this, like a stencil or fraktur style font .

ıı "

which just looks like four lines at first glance, but is stylized to use the 'stem' from the b as part of the w .

as i said it looks like an 'IMb' postal barcode , but i thought it looked retrofuture and cool.

only place i ever saw it in use. maybe 'we' were gonna use it , but didnt in the end.

if i find it ill post it up.

This?

There was a Saturday night entertainment programme on ITV. A bit like Britain's got talent , judges do a critique ,  but the acts were club acts from the same area as the football club . The green logo was on that show. BWFC got to the final and won ! They got a trophy ( first silverware of the season said the club )! As the closing credits went off the audience broke into a chorus of " when the whites go marching in "

It was surreal , seem to remember Bob Williamson being one of our acts , maybe not

that website came up when i were looking for it.

the talent show plot and lack of elton welsby,  made me cross it off my list. and not even look around.

that granadaland fansite also mentioned this record,

which i definitely listened to whilst reading that page yesterday.

Not seeing the forest for the trees.

Just a little complaint about the shirt. The box that it comes in is a bit crap. Compared with the other commemorative shirts that’s been produced. For the cost of the shirt a couple of quid extra on presentation wouldn’t seem too excessive. Many collectors would agree. I’m sure it will sell out though. Nice shirt.
I don’t usually complain but ….🤷‍♂️😊

The guy hosting the up for the cup videos on you tube has the final on it too.

Charlton had a Bobby davro and Jim Bowen ( that was unexpected) ...I was right about ' when the whites go marching in ' ... Dave ding dong higson can be seen celebrating the win in the Bolton section of the audience . Segregation in the seats 😊

Well, she must have ordered one of the last, as 6XL has also sold out. Get practicing your surprised face in the mirror.
