I bet IE would have something to say if we only have 48 hours before playing at Lincoln, who'll have an extra day to rest/prepare.

Seems a long time since we played at home on Boxing Day.

Perhaps, but remember when cup games come around, we might have extra games that others don't have at all.

Don't suppose the club will mind the money neither.

For me, 27th is doing a world of good.

I am down south over Christmas so boxing day wouldn't have been a possibility.

I see that some people might no long be able to attend, but surely still a huge crowd to expect, 24,000+ ?

We had 22,000 for a regular game vs Sheff weds

It wasn't on TV though, its bound to put some off.  I'm sure we'll get a great crowd (if our form improves!) but normally the biggest crowds are Boxing Day all other things being equal, and TV reduces it further.

We're getting 120k off Sky, so you lot can fuck off.

No surprise Bolton v Derby is on Sky, assuming they have to show a minimum number of L1 games.  If it had been scheduled for a Saturday, we'd be looking at a Sunday 12pm or Friday or Monday night.  Plymouth have already had 2 home games moved to those times, they are much worse.  We've got off lightly, how many rescheduled TV games get to KO at 3pm? (no consolation if you can't make the new date but that applies to any TV game).

Who in Christ's name will watch this game apart from a smattering of Bolton fans and a few more Derby?!

Bet they struggle to break 100k viewers.

Roger stuck at his wife's families house in the conservatory with a tele with all the other brow beaten dad's wishing he got divorced when she had an affair 15 years ago sipping supermarket lager and avoiding eye contact let alone small talk with the other blokes in the room.

Meanwhile the females get through 25 bottles of prosecco between the 5 of them.

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

That's our audience.
