MickyD Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 We jumped on one of many double-deck buses back to station then spent a few hours in station pub. It had a tv screen with departure and arrival announcements with platform information which was handy. Quote

Could you do garden fork tests during week? Reckon Cambridge away going same way . With this warning could have got sheeting or hay in but will they be bothered with threat of reduced numbers from WC Quote

Saves the fans travelling. Not sure sheeting would be much good if the temp goes below or around freezing for several days. As for hey- don't think that's used nowadays, especially given the cost. Pre-booked our taxi last year and it was easily 45 minutes between leaving the ground and actually getting back in to town. Be quicker walking. Taxis seem booked up already there’s a pub in Shrewsbury putting a coach to & from the game so we’ll jump that Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Hope those sheets work. Not sure what temps they're going to get, but we're getting some low ones by our standards. Quote
Traf Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Official car park / park & ride is an absolute ballache to get off. Aside from that, my tickets still haven't arrived. Quote

Marc505 Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 If this is going to go, let's hope they at least have the decency to tell us the night before. Might take more than a few sheets to save this pitch. Quote

Obviously depends upon exact temperature on the pitch and how well the sheets work. Got a feeling it will be on. Just. Quote
