We jumped on one of many double-deck buses back to station then spent a few hours in station pub. It had a tv screen with departure and arrival announcements with platform information which was handy.

Could you do garden fork tests during week? Reckon Cambridge away going same way . With this warning could have got sheeting or hay in but will they be bothered with threat of reduced numbers from WC

Can certainly do pitch inspections early and anticipate that it won't thaw in time. Saves the fans travelling. 

Not sure sheeting would be much good if the temp goes below or around freezing for several days.

As for hey- don't think that's used nowadays, especially given the cost.

Currently 0⁰C in Shrewsbury. Max of 2 today.

Below overnight and max of 4 tomorrow. Again freezing over night.

Obviously depends upon exact temperature on the pitch and how well the sheets work. 

Got a feeling it will be on. Just.
