We’ve got our 2 best ‘ball-playing’ midfielders on and the defence are just bypassing them. Creating chances which is good, but certainly not the ‘Evatt-style’ that we’ve been so used to seeing. Eddie Posted November 12, 2022 Share Posted November 12, 2022 We used to have such an obvious way of playing out from the back, MJ coming deep, playing out to the LCB or RCB and working it to the wing back to gain ground and start the attack. At the moment, we do the first bit, to Santos and then it goes up to Bakayoko (who is hardly Kevin Davies) with the midfield playing for second balls.
