It was similar to our recent league performances inasmuch that we gave the ball away far too often, played well but only in patches and can't finish. Or they have better players who didn’t play tonight ? . Generally, if the fans aren't interested enough to turn up, its a fair bet the players aren't massively up for it either, its human nature. Its like City scoring goals against Wycombe in the league cup, its handshakes rather than running off celebrating, and in tonight's case there must also be an element of looking a bit desperate if they celebrate goals against kids. Same outside after the end as a large group of them were on the grass bank towards Tesco. Didn’t seem to be any plod at the game but they all turned up 10 minutes later.
